All morning I had noticed the Starkey siblings looking at Drew and I with questions filling their brains. Jen wasn't on social media often, so she didn't notice anything different.
Jen had walked away, which left me, Mackayla, Brooke, Logan, and Drew.
"Okay, what's up with the tweets and Instagram comments?" Brooke asks.
Logan stops strumming his guitar, and Mackayla stops eating her bagel. Their attention goes straight to Drew and I.
"We're dating." Drew states.
"Wow. Okay." I mumble.
I wasn't aware we would say it so blankly.
"Finally."
"Good."
"Happy for y'all."
And that was it. The conversation about mine and Drew's relationship only got brought up one more time, which is when we told his mom-- who was very, very excited.
