A few days had passed since Drew and I slept together. I hadn't told anyone and I hoped he didn't either.
I thought Drew was a great guy, and that was the best sex I have had in my whole life, but I wasn't looking for a relationship right now.
I want to stay friends, but that sex was dirty, hot, and sexy. I just can't picture myself in a relationship right now.
We hadn't talked about that night and it was killing me with anticipation.
I was making some breakfast when a pair of arms wrapped around my waist. I can't stop the smile on my face.
"Good morning."
"Good morning, Starkey."
I can feel his mouth smile next to my face, he was resting his chin on my shoulder.
"What're you making?" Drew questions.
"Eggs. Can you put the bread in the toaster? We have avocados, fruit, juice, and coffee already made too."
"Cool."
He starts putting the bread in the toaster and a moment of silence creeps over the kitchen.
"Cline still sleeping?" I ask, breaking the uncomfortable silence.
"Yeah."
I nod and continue making the eggs.
"So about the other night." Drew begins. "It was great and all, but I'm not really uh- you know-"
"Me neither. I'm not looking for a relationship." I agree.
He lets out a sigh of relief. "Okay, but that sex was incredible."
I laugh and nod. "Yes, yes it was."
"And I wouldn't have a problem with doing it again."
"I wouldn't either."
"Good morning." A voice groans from the kitchen entryway.
"Morning, Maddie." I smile.
