Pokemon: Journey of Ash and Lillie [My Way]! Arc 1: Kanto (On Hold)

A/N: Ash & Starters & Pokemon Battle Royale Video!

For the first time in a New Generation, Ash didn't catch ANY of the Starters! FINALLY!

I'm happy that we don't have to have him have a starter! It took over 22 years to NOT give Ash a starter!!!

The first series, Ash caught all three (though only Charmander evolved), Johto, all three (only Totidile didn't evolve! In Hoenn, Pokemon changed it up by giving him only Sceptile for some reason, but it didn't matter much, because he still had a Fire Type and Water Type!

In Sinnoh, they gave him the Fire and Grass Type Starters, mainly due to the lack of Fire Types, and Turtwig is the popular choice! And he had the Water Type covered with Buziel!

In Unova, they once again went back to three starters, but it was WORSE, because only Tepig evolved, and didn't make it to the Final Evolution, so Unova SUCKED!

In Kalos, I think Pokemon was having the feeling people were upset about Ash not having an evolved Water Type, so they gave him Greninja, and somewhat of a Mega (Ability: Battle Bond), and gave him the Regional Bird (Talonflame) for a Fire Type, the only type he's missing is Grass!

In Alola, the same thing happened kinda, except Water was missing, and the Grass Alola starter (Rowlet) never evolved! (Wow, thanks for ruining my hopes Ash having a Ghost Type Z-Move Pokemon) Litten made it to Incineroar however, and Lana, Ash's classmate, had a Popplio evolve into Primarina! Thought honestly, since we had Type Specialists for the types of the Starters, I would've understand if Ash didn't have any of the starters!

Ash's Starter: Electric (and his ONLY electric Pokemon)

Lillie's starter: Ice (and her ONLY Pokemon at all!)

Sophocles: Steel/Electric (but is an Electric Specialist)

Lana: Water (Ride Pokemon don't count)

Kiawe: Fire/Dragon (Again, Charizard and Ride Pokemon don't count, but he could've had Litten instead of Turtnator)

Mallow: Grass (She could've had Rowlet, but Bounsweet she got from her mom before 10, so it doesn't help here!)

Also, with that in mind, I could give Ash a starter-free team, here's my ideal Ash team:

First, he has Pikachu of course (like always, he's always gonna be with Ashy-Boy)

Second, I think I'll give him the real regional bird! Pikipek.

Then we can't leave our boy Lycanroc! Why would I move him?!

There's also the Wimpod Ash saved as well! It could be his Bug/Water Type!

Then we have the Pokemon Gladion owns: Silvally! The Aether Foundation could give another Type:Null to Ash (because they have three according to Bulbapedia), so Ash could have a Silvally!

Then we have the last two; Melmetal and Naganadel! To the end of Sun Moon Season Two, Poipole stays in his own world, but returns as a Naganadel in the end in Season 3! Melmetal is Ash's first Steel Type, so I think he should get both, but Naganadel only returns to help out, because all it did was cause another sad depart after a few episodes! Like, I felt even MORE emotional after the first departure! So, we have Pikachu, Toucannon, Lycanroc, Golisopod, Silvally, and Melmetal!
