Pokemon: Journey of Ash and Lillie [My Way]! Arc 1: Kanto (On Hold)

Brock joins the group!

Ash, Yellow, Misty, and Lillie all reached Pewter City, ready for the battle against Brock. They also had a man in a disguise watching them.

Ash ahead of time taught Pidgeotto Steel Wing for the Rock Type Gym, and Butterfree had Energy Ball. While Pika, he had Iron Tail to help him out!

They walked into the Gym, and asked for a Pokemon Battle against Brock! Brock sent Geodude out to the field while Ash used Pidgeotto, despite the disadvantage!

"Tackle!" Brock ordered, and Ash ordered for a Tackle as well, Pidgeotto took more damage however.

[Geodude HP 19/22] [Pidgeotto HP 10/20]

"Use Steel Wing!" Ash ordered, "Take it out in one more hit!" Geodude and Brock were unprepared for a Super Effective attack, causing the Rock/Ground Type to go down!

[Geodude HP 0/22] [Pidgeotto HP 10/20]

"Ash has one more Pokemon to go!" Lillie squealed, and Yellow nodded, then they saw Brock take out Onix, which intimidated everyone in the room that was under 15!

"Steel Wing, go!" Ash shouted, but Onix dodged and used Bind to take out Pidgeotto with ease, now it was either Pika, Snowy, or Butterfree!

[Onix HP 25/25] [Pidgeotto HP 0/20]

"Pika? You want to go?" Ash questioned, and Pika nodded and rushed to the field, "Pika, I choose you!"

"Onix is a Ground Type," Brock sighed, ", Electric moves won't work!"

"Pika, use Iron Tail!" Ash shouted, it may have dealt a critical hit, but it wasn't enough, "Now, Quick Attack!"

[Onix HP 9/25] [Pika HP 30/30]

"Pika!" Pika shouted, and he rushed into Onix with the Normal Type Move, sending it back.

[Onix HP 3/25] [Pikachu HP 30/30]

"Bind quick!" Brock shouted, and it took out a lot of Pikachu's health, namely 25! Bind's effect did 2 more.

[Onix HP 3/25] [Pika HP 3/30]

"Finish this with Quick Attack!" Ash shouted, and Pikachu's attack finished the fight, and put him at ONE HP!

[Onix HP 0/25] [Pika HP 1/30]

"Onix is unable to battle!" Flint exclaimed, "Ash wins the Gym Battle!"

"Amazing!" Flint exclaimed, and he soon revealed to be Brock's dad, "I am impressed of how far you came!"

"DAD?!" Brock gasped, and Flint explained that he failed as a trainer and came back to say he was sorry. Brock and his siblings forgave him, and Flint asked if he wanted to join Ash on his journey. Brock said that he saw how much Ash thought outside the box, and wanted to keep traveling with him!
