Pokemon: Journey of Ash and Lillie [My Way]! Arc 1: Kanto (On Hold)

New Soaring Recruits & Intro to Brock!

Last time, out heroes encountered a Caterpie, let's see how it goes!

"Alright, go Pokeball!" Ash shouted, and he yeeted the ball at the Bug Type! After about 10 shakes, the ball dinged, meaning Caterpie was caught.

"ALRIGHT!" Ash shouted, "I caught a Caterpie!"

"Congrats Ash!" Lillie giggled, "That was awesome, right Misty?"

"B-bugs~" Misty stuttered, she was clearly afraid of bugs!

A Pidgeotto soon showed up, and Ash caught that as well. Then Team Rocket showed up, again!

"Caterpie, Pidgeotto, help out!" Ash shouted while sending his new buddies out, "Use Gust and String Shot!" Team Rocket got stuck to a tree!

"Snowy, Ice Beam!" Lillie ordered, "Pikachu, Thunderbolt!"

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN!!!" Team Rocket screamed, and Caterpie started to glow.

[This time, Ash is actually aware of strategies and types ahead of time!]

"He's evolving!" Ash gasped, "Alright!"

"Metapod!"  The newly evolved Bug Type exclaimed.

The gang soon headed off to the Pewter City Gym more, and ran into a Samurai. Pidgeot managed to win, but Metapod got kidnapped by a bunch of Beedrill!

"METAPOD NO!" Ash shouted, "We gotta get him back!" Ash and Lillie rushed after them, and found Metapod under a tree!

"Metapod, are you okay?!" Ash cried, "I was worried sick!" Ash then picked up Metapod and looked around for Beedrill, the two trainers sighed in relief when the found out no Beedrill were around.

"Well if it isn't Ash and Lillie!" They heard a voice chuckle, it was Yellow, "Hey guys!"

"Yellow, great to see you!" Lillie squealed, "How are you doing?"

"Great," Yellow giggled, "Chus even evolved into a Pikachu!" They soon see a Female Pikachu come out of her bag.

"Pika!" Pika gasped, and he went to shake hands with Chus.

"So Yellow, what are you doing here?" Ash asked, and Yellow explained that she was looking for a Beedrill, then suddenly:

"TEAM ROCKET!" Ash shouted, seeing that Team Rocket got a hold of all of the Beedrill in the forest, "Pikachu, use Thunderbolt! Snowy, Powder Snow! Metapod, String Shot!"

"Chus, use Volt Tackle!" Yellow ordered, and the four attacks, again, sent Team Rocket flying for the hills.

"WE'RE BLASTING OFF AGAIN?! THIS IS THE SECOND TIME TODAY!!!"

Metapod started to glow, an everyone covered their eyes, and soon, they saw a Butterfree!

"Alright, you evolved!" Ash and Lillie squealed, "Great job Butterfree!"

"So, um, Ash," Yellow sighed, ", how many Pokemon do you and Lillie have?"

"We have Pika and Snowy, then we caught Caterpie which evolved, and Pidgeotto!" Lillie exclaimed, "Cool right?"

"Sweet!" Yellow exclaimed, "I have Chus, Spearow, Jigglypuff, and Doduo!"

"That's cool!" Ash chuckled, "So, next up should be Pewter City!"

"THERE YOU ARE!" They heard Misty shout to them, "I've been looking all over for you!"

"Sorry Misty," Ash sighed, ", but we found out friend Yellow. And Yellow, this is our companion Misty!"

"Nice to meet you Misty!" Yellow stated, "It's nice to meet you!"

"Same!" Misty exclaimed, "So, should we head to the next City or not?"

"Okay, it should be nearby!" Lillie giggled, and the four went to Pewter City.

Later that night.

The fight was down to Charmander and Onix.

[Onix HP: 12/34] [Charmander HP: 2/30]

"Flamethrower!" Red ordered.

"Tackle!" Brock ordered, and the when the attacks collided, Onix fainted.

"Onix is unable to battle, Chamander wins! Which means Red wins this Gym Battle!" The judge shouted.

[Onix Hp: 0/34] [Charmander HP: 2/30]

"Charmander, you were great!" Red exclaimed, "I'm so proud of you!"

"That was a great battle," Brock stated, ", as proof of winning, I present to you the Bolder Badge!" Red thanked Brock and went to the nearest hotel.
