Pokemon: Journey of Ash and Lillie [My Way]! Arc 1: Kanto (On Hold)

Gladion in the Kanto League!

The Ketchum and Aether families had returned to Kanto, and Gladion had gotten some new Pokemon during his journey.

First, was a Mr. Mime [Mimey!], and he also got a Dragonite that was going on a rampage a few weeks ago.

"Good luck big brother!" Lillie squealed, and Gladion nodded and went into the stadium.

There were a lot of characters that were also there as well. For instance, there was Paul [from Diamond & Pearl], Kahili [from Sun & Moon], and even, and the Elite Four to face after they won the tournament!

"Say, who exactly are the people who have beaten the Elite 4?" Lillie questioned, and Ash started to explain what the Elite Four and Champion concept was.

"Each region, besides Alola, has an Elite 4 and Champion." Ash explained, "When someone wins the tournament part of the League, they  face off against the Elite 4 and Champion! In order to face the Champion, you have to over come the types that aren't used for Gyms! When you overcome those types, you challenge the Champion, who most likely does not have a specific type! If you win that final battle, you become the new Champion!" 

"He's correct," Lusamine exclaimed, ", when I was dating your father Lillie, I watched him take on the Hoenn League. He won against the other competitors and Elite 4, but failed to take down all 6 of the Champion at the time's Pokemon!"

"Wow, that's rough!" Ash and Lillie groaned, and Lusamine said it wasn't much of a big deal, and that he was very strong at the time.

"Welcome everyone to the Kanto League," Charles Goodshow greeted everyone, ", I am Charles Goodshow, and I am happy to have you all watching today. Here will be the first rounds battles!" The screen showed a lot of matches, but Ash and the others found Gladion's match.

28. Paul VS Gladion.

[Oh man, super cold trainer showdown!!!!!]

"Elekid!" Paul's Electric Pokemon groaned while getting out of the Pokeball he was in.

"Umbreon!" Gladion's Umbreon growled at Elekid, seems like we have a rivalry already!

Time skip to Gladion VS Paul!

"Drapion, go!" Paul exclaimed with confidence.

"A Poison and Dark Type?" Gladion chuckled, "Rhydon!"

"Alright, battle begin!" The judge yelled, and thus the 28th match began.

"Earth Power!" Gladion yelled, and that took out Drapion in one hit because it was not expected!

"Torterra," Paul grunted while sending out the Grass/Ground Type, "Hyper Beam!"

"Dodge it, now!" Gladion yelled in worry, but Rhydon was too slow and got slammed into a wall, then, Torterra finished the fight with Giga Drain.

"You were great, partner!" Paul stated, "Return for now!" [Paul hasn't turned cruel yet]

"You did great Rhydon, take a good rest." Gladion sighed while returning the Ground/Rock Type, then he sent out his newly evolved Lucario.

"Magmar!" Paul shouted, "Let's go!"

"Bone Rush!" Gladion yelled, while Magmar used Fire Punch. Both attacks collided, but Bone Rush managed to get the upper hand.

"Aura Sphere!" Gladion ordered, but Magmar used Fire Blast to take Lucario out of the fight.

"Great job Lucario," Gladion sighed, ", it's up to you, go Type:Null!"

"Type WHAT?!" Everyone except the people who knew of Type:Null shouted, and the Normal Type was ready for battle.

"Crush Claw!" Gladion shouted, and with two claws hitting Magmar, the third battle was over.

"Torterra," Paul exclaimed, ", I'm counting on you!"

"Type:Null, use X-Scissor!" Gladion shouted, and back in the stands...

"Man, they're neck and neck!" Ash exclaimed, "This is going to be close!"

"I know big brother can win!" Lillie cheered, "GO GLADION!"

"VULPIX!!!" Snowy yelped, cause she was rooting for Gladion as well.

"Hyper Beam!" Paul shouted, but Type:Null was too close, so both Pokemon ended up getting hit by Hyper Beam, leaving a large cloud of smoke. Then suddenly...

...Torterra was shown knocked out.

"Gladion wins it!" The judge shouted, and Gladion hugged Type:Null tightly, and Paul shook his hand, and wished him luck in the next round.

Gladion did very well in the rest of the League, and he even won! But he lost to Agatha with the Elite Four Challenge!

"I'm sorry if I let you guys down," Gladion sighed, but Lillie and Ash hugged him, saying he was amazing.

Two weeks before Lillie's birthday, Lillie asked Ash something.

"So Ash," Lillie sighed, ", I want to ask you something."

"Sure, what is it Lillie?" Ash exclaimed, and Lillie went ahead and kissed him on the cheek. That made the lad blush greatly, and Lillie continued.

"Would you be okay if I waited for you to become 10?" Lillie asked, "That way, we could travel together!" Ash then kissed the blonde on the cheek, and hugged her.

"Of course Lillie!" Ash chuckled, "You and your feelings mean a lot to me!"

"Well, we better get to bed," Lillie sighed, ", night Ashy, love you!"

"Love you too Lils!" Ash chuckled, and they went back inside, unaware that the others heard it, mainly due to them getting away from the door when they heard that they were coming in.

"You go get your things Ash," Delia stated nervously, ", it's time to go!"

"On it mom!" Ash chuckled, and he then got his packed bag, and he, Pika, and Delia left a few minutes later.

"Well," Lillie yawned, ", I better get to bed as well."

"Vulpix!" Snowy exclaimed, and then Lillie went upstairs to get her PJs on.

"You think they knew we were listening?" Gladion groaned, but Lusamine shook her head no, and they started to get to bed too.
