In the Dorm (Day 1)

Dear Diary

We all walked through the hall and up the stairs to the canidae family section without saying a word. Juno and Kasia, two female canines sleep in a completely separate room because they don't want to sleep near the boys. But I trust them fine. And plus, the girls still hang out in the main room. I glanced at my watch. 7:23. Damn. Is rehearsal always gonna take this long? I floppedonto the lower part of my bunk bed without bothering to put on any pajamas. I closed the curtain and my eyes. I rolled over onto my side and tried to clear my mind.

I had a goddamn heart attack though, when Miguno ripped my curtains to the side and practically dragged me out of my bed. "Woah, what the hell, man?!" I yelled, trying to regain my balance. "It's only like, 7:30! You can't go to sleep yet!" He threw an arm around my shoulder and forced me to walk with him over to the games table.

Everyone- Jack, Boss, Kolo, Durham, Juno, Kasia, and... Legoshi all turned to look at me. Jack beamed widely and teased me by saying, "Well come on down, sleepyhead, we're playing go fish!" I sat down and yawned. "Sorry guys, I'm just really tired." I rubbed my eyes and rested my head in my palm. "Tell you what," Boss began. "How about you play one round with us, and see how you feel after that?" I sighed heavily and reluctantly agreed. "Alright, fine." I said with a grimace. "Nice, you're the best, Y/N." Kasia said while dealing the cards.

The game was fairly uneventful. The only thing weird was, every time someone went to ask Legoshi if he had any- whatevers, he would almost never respond the first time they asked him. They would have to say his name again before he realized someone was talking to him. Jack definitely noticed something was amiss with Legoshi. I could sense it. I wondered if he would bring it up with him.

After the one round I promised, I put down my cards and got up without saying a word. "Hey where you go- oh, right." Boss shut his mouth after remembering the deal we made. I decided I would change into my pajamas after all and rummaged through my suitcase to grab them. I trudged to the bathroom yawning and went in to change.

I came out and Durham immediately bursted into laughter. Miguno looks over at me and he, too starts roaring with laughter. Boss and Jack snicker a bit. Juno and Kaisa giggle. But Legoshi is just smiling. The rest seem so innocent, even if they are laughing at my clothes, but Legoshi's simple smile creeped me out.

"What- are those- pajamas?!" Durham got out in between laughter. I looked down at my pajamas. Yeah, I really should have expected this. My pajamas are pink with yellow stars on them. I mean sure, they're not the coolest but I don't really think they're that bad. Jack looked at me and said, "Oh, don't listen to us, Y/N. They're actually pretty cute on you."

At this, I felt myself blushing. It's a good thing they couldn't see through my fur. That would have made them just relentless. I sort of chuckled along with them, not wanting to seem like someone who couldn't take a joke. I suddenly stopped when I noticed Legoshi had his head resting in his palm, staring at me. His eyes widened as he noticed I saw him and tried to play it off like he was scratching his cheek. Of course I didn't buy it and walked around the opposite side of the table as him and towards my bed. I kicked off my slippers and settled into bed.
