Author's Notes: I love the Adams of the world. They're fun, funny, friendly, make jokes, are loyal, caring, and will never back down. We don't get to learn too much about Adam's story from the updated version, but we do get a good look at his and Selena's dynamic. He's always trying to crack her facade, as well as to crack jokes, and she is not impressed or motivated to do... anything because of it. Adam's fascinated with Selena and wants to learn more about her. He wants to become a prison counselor so he can do the same with other incarcerated persons.

I'd like to picture Adam's daily life for a moment. He wakes up, does his hair, reads a few paragraphs from a psychology book, texts his friends a little, and heads to work. Then he does the routine morning prison checks, makes sure there are no issues, and stops by Selena's cell a few times. On his lunch break, his friends, for the millionth time, call him crazy to be a prison guard when he updates them on the morning's events. He sneaks books by Selena and interviews her, chats with the other prisoners, then the day's over and he goes home. Sometimes he goes out with his friends, and they try to hook him up with someone. He laughs and returns to his apartment, where he researches nearby psych courses. What do you think? Honestly, I don't believe that we deserve the Adams we have. They're too good for us. Too innocent, too pure, too unaffected by the world's awfulness. Tag an Adam you know. They're the best.
