It felt like a whole new day. The sun coming through his window seemed to be a bit brighter. As he got up and walked through the halls to his morning yoga session the place seemed to be a bit less dreary. It was going to be a good day. He was still tired and had bsrely slept the entire time he had been there but he didn't let it piss him off today. He entered into the yoga room and grabbed his yoga mat from where he stored it. He set it out in his usual spot and waited for the others to get there. After he got set up his yoga instructor motioned for him to go and talk to her.
"I was given some information about you yesterday, you'll be doing the off site rehabilitation from now on is that right?"
"Yes ma'am."
"Wonderful I hope you enjoy it. I'll really miss you having these morning workouts with me so I made you a list of what it is we do in here each day so that you could do it at home with your caretaker."
"Do I need to give you proof or anything that I did it each day or?"
"Nope. You don't even have to do the yoga per se. It's just very helpful during the rehabilitation process to be active in some way. It's a way to sweat out all the toxins. We just want you to be working out in some way shape or form, doesn't matter how. Incase you like the yoga though I made you this layout. It also has some links to guided meditations. Those are more so for your mental clarity so I do strongly recommend sticking with those. And you could do them at night before bed or while you're hanging out outside, wherever makes you feel at peace."
"Thank you. I definitely will stick with it. I don't think I've had a chance to stretch my muscles out like this in a while. I tour so much and my muscles are always so sore."
"It can be real tough on your body."
"Yeah it can."
"Maybe you can keep this list for later too then and do these stretches while you're on tour."
"Definitely." He said with a smile
He put the papers to the side and got through the class. Stretches, meditation, some working poses, the usual. He went to put his mat back in the spot where he normally kept it but stopped himself once he realized he wouldn't be needing to reserve it anymore.
"Um here's this." He said while handing the mat to his instructor
"Thaaank you. I'll take this to go get washed. It's about that time to clean all the mats anyways. Oh! That's right. I'm supposed to tell you that instead of going to lunch today you have the option to go straight through your sessions and therapy so that you'll be done by the time you leave here today. Your caretaker was wanting to have lunch with you when he comes to get you if that's alright by you."
"Sounds like a plan then. Hey, thank you for having me."
She opened her arms for a hug and he actually gladly accepted. "Thank you so much for letting me teach you. Maybe stop by my room every once in a while when you're here"
"Will do."
"I wish you nothing but greatness and success in your journey."
"Thank you."
That was kinda sweet. He was almost sad saying goodbye even though he technically could come back and keep going to her classes if he really wanted to. He knew he probably wouldn't though. She had always been nice to him and not in a fake way. She was very happy and hippie type yet seemed to be the only person here who was genuinely happy and not fake happy. He liked her because of that.
He took a shower and got changed before heading to breakfast. He still had to tell his friends the news. He found them preparing their plates or already sitting with a cup of coffee in hand.
