Chapter 6

Percy Pov

It has been a week since Percy came to Camp Half-Blood, and so far it has been great, it was everything that he expected. Luke seemed to have taken to him and had spent the last few days showing Percy around, Percy checked with the other members of the Hermes Cabin and he didn't do this for just anybody. 

He had also been spending time with the Stoll brothers, who told him the latest gossip around camp. For instance, apparently, Clarisse is actually a man, Malcolm has a massive crush on Lou Ellen, who Percy sleeps right next to in the Hermes Cabin, and Chiron sleeps with curlers in his hair (Annabeth was not pleased when that rumour came out). Another benefit of hanging out with the Stoll brothers was that he earned another skill, pranking. Yes, pranking, it started when Percy helped the brothers prank the Demeter Cabin, and it turns out that the more he helps them Prank, the higher his pranking skill gets, even if he is only an associate of the prank. Meaning his prank is lv 3, nothing compared to the Stolls who are lv 48 and 50 respectively, but it was a start.

Luke had also been teaching him sword fighting, a skill that Percy had earned from countless hours of fighting and training with Dave, although it was clear that while Dave was an awesome sword-fighter, it was clear he might have had to bow down to Luke on this one.

Percy still couldn't get over how strong the son of Hermes was, he still remembers his stats.

Luke Castellan is the Son of Hermes, the god of Travelers and Thieves and May Castellan. He is also the councillor of cabin 11. He ran away aged 13 from his home as his mother suffered from violent episodes that would scare the shit out of him leading him to hate the gods for leaving him with her. He later met Thalia Grace and then a year later 7-year-old Annabeth chase, with the help of Grover Underwood, made it to Camp Half-blood.

Luke thinks Percy could fill in for him when he leaves Camp Half-Blood and is training him to take care of the demigods. He also has suspicions about Percy's home life and hopes Percy will talk about it.

Because Luke was such a good swordsman and a teacher, Percy had gone up to lv 10 when fighting and knew 30% of Greek fighting, as well as his strength and Vit by 2 due to the constant swinging of the sword until Luke deemed it enough training for the day.

"Hey Percy, can I talk to you about something personal?" Luke asked him, his tone of voice softening.

From reading about Luke's status Percy had a pretty good idea about what this was going to be about, and he definitely wasn't looking forward to it. 'I guess that it is time for that type of conversation, though from Luke's tone and body language it is apparent that Luke has both had this type of talk and given it multiple times.

"Yeah, but I have a pretty good idea about what you want to talk about" Percy smirked, he then nodded his head at the older boy to let him know it was ok to talk.
