Now many may say that the gods of Olympus were knobheads, and they would be right, many would say that the gods of Olympus were way too prideful, they would also be right, many would say that the gods of Olympus were downright immature and took things way too personally, they would also be right. If someone were to say that the gods of Olympus were uninvested in their children they would be also right, most of the time, and this is one of those times when they would be wrong.

8 of the 12 Olympian gods all watched down from the Heavens at the battle below them, Dionysus was at the camp watching over their children, not very well, and Ares was probably beating his dick inside of some pornstar or soldier, it was very varied with him, Hephaestus was building some new contraption or something, Apollo was driving his chariot, but after an hour or so, he would probably put it on autopilot or something and go to a club or bar. However, Aphrodite, Athena, Artemis, Demeter, Hera, Hermes, Poseidon and Zeus were all watching a one-way Iris message that showed a certain son of Poseidon and a daughter of Athena run down to save the descendant of Pan and an unclaimed demigod from a pack of Hellhounds.

"Your son doesn't think, he will march to his death," said a certain grey-eyed wisdom goddess, she had to admit she was intrigued by the son of Poseidon. She had watched his debate with her daughter Annabeth, and it had led her to question some of her past decisions, not that she would ever change them, her pride made sure of that.

"My son is powerful enough to take on 10 hellhounds, he has already defeated a powerful monster in the fury Alecto, you should worry more about your daughter" The king of Atlantis sat on his throne, while he would much rather be in Atlantis right now, his wife and eldest child weren't particularly happy with him having a demigod child, especially because of the packed he had made with his brothers, but Sally Jackson was something different altogether, he still has fantasies about him, Sally and Amphitrite all together showing how much they all love each other... physically.

"So, you admit that this bastard is yours then and that you used him to steal my bolt, you broke the packed you should be punished, after I kill your son for his betrayal, I vote that we strip you of your immortality" Zeus, king of the gods declared, trying to intimidate his older brother.

"Yes, I admit that Perseus is my son, no, I didn't steal your bolt, and neither did he and second you cannot punish me for breaking the pack as you did it first, twice, which means since the person who originally came up with the packed broke it first, it is now null and void. Meaning if I am to be punished, you should be punished with a punishment twice as worse as mine, and the only reason you could take my immortality away was because I let you, little brother" holding his trident, and flaring his aura. It was clear to everybody that at full power, Poseidon and Zeus were near identical, but with Zeus without his godly symbol, it was highly likely they would have a new king if the two ever went to war, especially with the majority backing Poseidon over Zeus anyway.

"Besides, Poseidon's kid didn't even know he was a demigod until he got to camp, so he couldn't have stolen the bolt" This was said by a youngish man with brown hair, he was carrying a staff, with two snakes knotted around, this was Hermes. He watches his cabin daily, especially when some new campers were staying in his cabin if anything to make sure they weren't his. Percy seemed to be a jack of all trades, he picked up on things really easily and even better Luke seemed to have taken a liking to him. If Hermes can get on Percy's good side he might get some brownie points with Luke, he wasn't allowed to interfere with Luke's fate, but Percy was.

"That might not be true" This was said by a 12-year-old with silver eyes, Artemis the goddess of the Hunt, maidens and the Moon. She went to tell her family about her encounter with the strange boy, and how he knew who she was and although seemed shocked about the idea of meeting a goddess, didn't seem too shocked about the revelation of the Greek world. Needless to say, the gods were shocked and slightly suspicious of the son of Poseidon.
