1 Month after gaming powers came

Percy was excited as he knew what day it was today, it was the last Friday of the month. And that meant he had Latin first period, it was one of the few classes that Percy was actually quite good at before he got his gaming powers. And by quite good at he meant he wasn't failing.

Now a word about Mr Brunner before you meet him, he had round silver glasses and curly brown hair. He was paralysed from the waist down and needed a wheelchair to move around, but don't let his appearance trick you, every Friday he brings in his ancient Greek and Roman sword collection and challenges you to name every Greek hero, their godly parent or Patron and a monster that they have killed, pen against sword. Today was one of those days, and believe him after all the reading he had done he was prepared.

"Nancy, what day is it today?" Mr Brunner asked the little bitch

"Friday, sir" The Cheetos haired demon replied

"Well in that case NANCY BOBOFIT WOULD YOU LIKE TO STEP UP TO THE PODIUM!" Mr Brunner announced in a radio host voice.

"Who would you like to challenge?" he asked her, but we all knew the answer

"Percy Jackson" she gave a crooked grin while giving Percy the stink eye, it didn't make her any more attractive.

Percy grinned "Sir, I was born for this" with all his knowledge there was no way he would lose, so he quickly accepted yes.

Mr Brunner looked at him with a sad smile, "Percy, you have no idea how right you are. Anyway, Nancy, your up, facts about Dionysus go."

Nancy looked confused "Mr Brunner, Dionysus was only a god, wasn't he the wine dude?" as the words came out of her mouth thunder boomed scaring the shit out of Grover, who looked like he was about to crap himself.

"Names have power Miss Bobofit, you would be wise to remember that, but to answer your question Dionysus was a great demigod before he became an Olympian. He even had his own group of worshipers and was one of the more powerful sons of Zeus." Mr Brunner answered "Percy, your turn, facts about Bellaphrone go."

The Gamer grinned, knowing he had this in the bag, ever since he made the connection between Greek mythology and his dad, he had put in a special effort in memorising all the stories.

"Bellaphrone was the son of Poseidon, Greek god of the seas, and rider of Pegasus the winged horse. He killed the monster the Chimera and died while attempting to fly to Olympus." 

Nancy looked fuming, Grover and the class looked amazed while Mr Brunner looked both proud and relieved "Well done Percy, Nancy, try again. Your Hero is Perseus" For some reason, Nancy's friends smirked when Chiron said that and Nancy herself went red.
