Chapter 3

Two weeks later 

Percy Pov

Do you want to know Percy's current situation? He was fighting a bunch of skeletons with his bare hands trying to figure out a way to kill them.

20 minutes earlier

"You know Percy, I like this new you?" Grover told his best friend. They were currently in their dorm, listening to Sublime's Santeria through Grover's cd player, in their pyjamas. 

"Yeah, what about this new me do you like?" The raven-haired boy raised an eyebrow

"You're thinking about your studies more, you're going to the gym more, and you're being more social with other people, I am proud of you man" In the past, Percy would have gotten a bit weirded out about Grover's comments, after all, what normal '12' year old is proud about there friend giving a damn about the school, and the gym, however, Percy has come to the conclusion that Grover is anything but normal.

"Thanks, I figured if I had to go to school I might as well try to enjoy it, plus Dave is really cool and I like working out with him," Grover smirked at his best friend

"Does somebody have a little crush"

"If he his chest was bigger and rounder, wasn't as muscled, shorter by around 10 inches, didn't have facial hair and didn't have a dangly thing with two balls between his legs, then yes I would have a crush on Dave." Percy grinned back "Besides, Dave has a girlfriend already, and when I meet her, I will thank her with all my heart, I don't have training today because he is visiting her for their 3-year anniversary." He explained before getting out of his bed to get change.

As he took his clothes off to get dressed he discretely checked himself out, subtly flexing in the mirror. Now Percy wasn't obsessed with his looks (his stepfather made sure that there wasn't a lot to look at) and probably wouldn't have worked out at all if he didn't have his gaming powers but he was however proud of the slight body transformation that he is going through, hopefully, he would be able to stand up to Gabe next time he sees him. 

Instead of being twigs and bones, like he was when he first came to Yancy Academy, he now had some muscle. His arms were more firm and you couldn't see his ribs anymore which were replaced with the outline of a six-pack.

"Yo Percy, stop checking yourself out, we have Geography" Huh, maybe he wasn't as discrete as he thought.

"Not me Grover, Mr Brunner spoke to the Principal and now I only have maths, Science, English, Latin and the Classics plus Gym." Grover smirked like they were sharing an inside joke before glaring at Percy's back like it offended him, when Percy first met Grover he told him about his 'punishments', just so Grover had time to prepare himself if he ever had to see Percy naked for some reason, and every time the socially awkward teenager, or half goat adult, saw his back he stared at it like it was his fault.

"Mr Brunner is great isn't he" Grover suddenly changed the subject after realising Percy caught him staring.

"Look who now has a little crush, I don't think 'Juniper' will be very happy" Percy grinned, loving Grover's discomfort at the mention of the so called 'girlfriend'.

"Whatever, well I have to go to Geography since not everyone is able to miss subjects, see ya Perce," Grover said before heading out.

"Well now that he is gone. PD create" Suddenly Percy blacked out, well kinda blacked out. For about 5 seconds everything went dark, then when he finally saw light he was floating except right below him was... him. He was staring down at his own body, which looked like it was drooling, huh he never realised he was a drooler.
