°Ryuku's POV°
I hear Asta screaming as he is being

chased by a boar. "And he said he could beat a boar with his bare hands," I snicker to myself. After that, he gets knocked into view of me, Noelle, and Magna. "Uh.. Shouldn't we rescue him?" She said, sounding unsure herself. "I'm taking a break," Magna answered back. "My magical powers are pretty much drained after flying you this far, plus dealing with those two." He said. I scoff at his words. Asta comes popping up from the trees again, screaming. "I'm sure he'll be fine. He's pretty tough." Noelle still looks pretty worried and unsure of his answer. "If you're so worried, you go save him," Magna tells her. She just sighs and accepts it. Asta is still being chased by that boar. Noelle takes out her book and starts her spell. She shoots it and....it went to Asta instead. Then the boar hit him too. Magna straight out laughs and Noelle scoffs. "Well that backfired..." I say, trying to hide my own laughter. Seems like Asta finally used his brain. He got his sword out and started swinging at the boar. He defeated the boar and he is out of breath. "Great job, Asta. But it ain't over yet." Magna says, pointing at a bunch of other boar.

∆Timeskip∆

We were walking to Saussy Village, I think, with some wild boar. "You've got some impressive brute strength. This should make old man Seyhe happy. Let's have ourselves a wild boar party." Magna says. Asta struggles to carry all of those boar. "Here Asta, gimme one." I say reaching out to carry one. "I got i-" "Give me a damn boar dude," I cut him off grabbing one of the boars from him. "These are surprisingly light," I say. Asta looks like a little of the weight has come off his shoulders. "The mayor of Saussy Village...Sayhe? You know him?" Noelle asks Magna. "Yeah. I've known him for a long time. I'm from Rayaka Village, which is just past here, but I used to be a bit of a handful when I was a kid." Used to be? Like you aren't now? Magna continues, "I got a big head after I got my grimoire and went to Saussy Village with the intent of taking it over,too," We've already seen this. "He whooped my ass every time." Magna said. "He must be strong." Noelle said. "I found this out later, but old man Sayhe had enough magic power that he aspired to be a Magic Night when he was younger. He was the one who suggested rhat I take the Magic Knights Entrance Exam." There's more Backstory here. "It's all because of him that I'm here right now. When I passed the Magic Knights Entrance Exam, he was happier for me than anyone." "He must be a nice person." Noelle added. "Yeah. And he went to the royal capital, well, to get rich quick so he could make some money for his village, but i think he also came to see me." Magna continued. "He did take me for every bit of change I had, though! But he's the one who showed me what a real man should be. I wanted to be like him, the person i respect most after Mister Yami-" he stops al of a sudden, talking and walking. Magna drops the boar he was holding. "Magna?" Asta asks. "The hell is that?" He ran towards the edge sounding worried yet irritated. I drop my boar and run after him. The village looks like it it covered in mist, but it was only the village. "The village." I say as Asta and Noelle come after. "It's covered in mist." Noelle says. "Wow, the weather sucks in that village." Asta says, oblivious. "You idiot. That's magic." I say rolling my eyes. "WHAT?"
We are close to the entrance to the village now. "A magical mist?" Asta questions. "Once we enter it, we probably won't be able to get anywhere. We'll lose our sense of direction and end up wandering around in the mist." Noelle explains. "Magic that can cover a whole village... None of the villagers have magic this strong. Of course, this isn't Old Man Sayhe's magic either. What's going on?" Magna says, but mostly to himself. He calls out to Asta and tells him to cut through the mist, since it is magic. "That's a dumb thing to say. You can't cut through mist with a sword." Asta says, sounding like an idiot. "You're the dumb one! Since it is magic, you can cut through it with your sword!" Magna took the words right out of my mouth. Asta finally gets it and starts swinging at the mist. It clears a path for us, while Magna leads where to slash. "Did you two feel that?" Magna asks. "Yes. Powerful magic." Noelle says while i just nod. This pressure is heavy. I never thought it would be so heavy. Magna tells Asta to go straight ahead and to be careful. "We should end up in the square." He says. Asta takes the last swing, revealing people on the other side. I look up to see ice floating above the people. The others notice too. The ice starts falling as a random voice says, "This is your execution." Magna rushes in with his grimoire out, casting a spell. Explosive Scattershot destroys the ice falling. Everyone scared and children were crying. "Nick, what the heck's going on?" Magna asks a kid on the ground. He then notices Sayhe lying on the ground, unconscious."Wake up!" Magna shakes him. "Are you the bastard who did this?!" Magna yells at the person in the blue. "How dare you put me behind schedule. You'll all be executed in ten seconds," Is all that the man had to say. He uses his magic to make a big ball of ice. It comes straight for us. Asta then runs at it and slices it with ease. "I won't forgive this!" Ooh Asta's angry.
