Chapter 44- A Race against time

It has now been 5 hours since Angie left. Violetta was crying her eyes out. Olga and Ramallo were trying their best to comfort her.

Olga “Please don’t cry my sweetheart”.   Violetta sniffled.

Ramallo “Are you hungry Vilu?”.   Violetta shook her head.

Herman then walked through the door. He saw Violetta sobbing her little heart out.

Herman “What’s the matter Vilu?”. He walked up to her and hugged her.

Violetta “Angie..she took a suitcase. She’s gone”.

Herman “Okay”.

Violetta “Okay?. Is that all you have to say”.  She said sniffling.

Herman “Vilu there is something I need to tell you?”.

Violetta “What that Angie is my Aunt then I already know and I don’t care”.

Herman “You knew! ?”.

Violetta “Yes and you don’t have a right to be angry you also lied”.

Herman “I had your  best interests at heart”.

Violetta “What you thought keeping my Aunt and Grandma away from we in my best interests?”.    She said through floods of tears.

Herman “I’m sorry Vilu”.

Violetta “Bring Angie back. I know you love her. She loves you too”. Herman was speechless.

Violetta “You can’t deny it Dad. It’s in your eyes...LOVE”.

Herman looked at Olga and Ramallo.

Ramallo “Violetta’s right Herman. You love Angie”.

Herman “But she’s Maria’s sister”.

Violetta “Dad mom’s gone. She would want you to be happy. Even if it is with Angie”.

Herman “I’ve got to find her. Where did she go?”.

Violetta “She didn’t say. She just left. She was holding a suitcase”.

Herman “What she’s leaving? Vilu do you know any of the places Angie would of gone too?”.     He said rather hurried.

Violetta “I don’t know ummm the studio, the cemetery maybe the park”.

Herman “Okay well Violetta try the park. Ramallo and Olga try the cemetery and I will try the studio”.

Meanwhile at the studio Angie was collecting up her belongings from her class room. When Pablo walked in.

Pablo “What are you doing Angie?”.

Angie “I’m leaving. I’m packing up my stuff and I’m leaving”.

Pablo “What why! ?”.     He sounded frustrated.

Angie “Herman knows I’m Maria’s sister”.

Pablo “What has he told you to leave?”.
