Angie put on her black and white maxi dress with her orange feathered earrings and wore her tanned wedges. She left the house and met Pablo at the Park.
Pablo”Angie we really need to talk”.
Angie”Okay go ahead Pablo”.
Pablo”Well.....what I told you the other day meant it. I love you”.
Angie”Pablo,I’m really flattered but I don’t see you in that way. I love you as my best friend”.
Angie looked in Pablos eyes. It looked like the light had burnt out in his world.
Pablo”Okay Angie. I understand. I just wanted to put my feelings out there”.
Angie grabbed Pablos hand and kissed him on the cheek.
Angie”I’ll ring you later”.
Pablo”Okay bye Angie”. He looked so sad.
Angie and Pablo didn’t know that Jade and Matias were stood behind a tree. They were listening to Angie and Pablos conversation. Pablo and Angie walked off in opposite directions. Jade looked very pleased.
Jade”Matty it looks like the tutor has a boyfriend”.
Matias”No Jade.You weren’t listening properly. He likes her but she doesn’t like him back”.
Jades smile soon turned into a grimace.
Jade”Well maybe so. I can still work this to my advantage Matty”.
Matias”Do you have a plan Jade?”.
Jade”Yes and I’m not going to tell you!”.
Jade walked off. Matias was standing all on his own.
Angie arrived back at the house in time for tea. Jade somehow managed to get home before Angie. Angie then sat down.
Jade”So Angie how did your meeting go with that man in the park?”.
Angie and Violetta looked at each other with awkward glances.
Angie”Jade how do you know that. Were you following me?”.
Jade”No I just happened to be in the park”.
Angie”If you really want to know he’s my friend. His name is Pablo”.
Jade”He looked very handsome”.
Herman’s ears pricked up. He looked directly at Angie. Herman looked very curious and really jealous.
Herman”So is this Pablo your boyfriend?”.
Angie”No he’s just a friend. I’ve known him for a long time”.
Herman looked satisfied with Angie’s answer. Jade then spoke up again.
Jade”Are you sure Angie darling. He looks like your type”.
Angie”Jade I don’t have a type!”.
Angie looked really offended so she left the table. Herman could tell something was up with Angie. Herman made excuses and left the table. He went into her bedroom and waited for her to come out of the bath room. Angie then came out.
Angie”Herman what are you doing here?”.
Herman”I saw that you were upset and I wanted to know if there was anything I could do?”.
Angie”I’ll be fine. Thanks for your concern Herman”.
Angie smiled at Herman.
Herman”You sure Angie?”.
Angie”Yes Herman I’m sure. I just don’t like people asking about my personal life”.
Herman”I’m sure Jade didn’t mean to be noisy”.
Angie”You think so”. Angie murmured.
Herman”What?”.
Angie”Nothing.I didn’t say a thing”. Angie laughed nervously.
Herman”Well as long as you’re okay”.
Angie”I am now you’re here”.
Herman had a huge smile across his face.
Herman”Well I’ll always be here for you”.
Angie walked up to Herman and kissed him on the cheek. She then left the room. Herman smiled again and touched his cheek that Angie just kissed.
