Chapter 2- A Teacher and a Friend

“My love where are you?”.

Herman” I’m in the kitchen Jade”.

Then this woman walked in wearing a black dress, black heels and a gold handbag.

Jade”Hello my love, oh hi Vilu”.

Herman” Jade I need to introduce you to Violetta’s new tutor. This is Angie”.

Angie walked over to Jade and put out her hand to Jade.

“ Hello Jade, I’m Angie”.

Jade looked down at Angie’s hand and waited for her to put it away. Angie realised that Jade was very stuck up and she also looked jealous. 

Jade “Hello”.

Jade then walked off.

Violetta” I’m so glad your hear Angie”.

Violetta then left. It was just Herman and Angie.

Angie” I’m really grateful for this opportunity.

Angie had a big grin on her face.

Herman” Your welcome Angie”.

Herman gave Angie a list of rules.

Herman “Of course you will have to come and live with us. So you can be with Violetta full time”.

Angie would have to ask Pablo for some time off. Angie hoped Pablo wouldn’t be angry.

Angie”Okay that’s fine. However I will need to sort out a few things first”.

Herman “Of course well you can move in tomorrow. I will have Olga prepare your room and have Ramallo talk to you about the situation”.

Angie looked at Herman.

Angie”Situation what situation?”.

Herman “Well Violettas mother Maria was a famous singer and then Violetta cam e along so Maria decided to stop touring to bring Violetta up. Her father begged her to take one last tour and she did however there was an accident and she died. So Violetta grew up without a mother. That’s why I over protective. I don’t want anything to happen to her”.

Angie” I understand. I would be protective. I’d be exactly the same”.

Angie and Herman exchanged very awkward looks. Angie got up from her seat.

Angie” Well I better get going. Got loads to do”.

Herman” Yes I’ll let you get on”.

Angie”Well thanks again”.

Angie left the kitchen and Herman followed her out. Olga opened the door and Angie stopped in the door way. She looked back at Herman and gave him a smile and a little wave. Then she was gone.

Angie left the house and Pablo was still waiting for her.

Pablo” So how did it go? What did Herman Say?”.

Angie”Well I didn’t tell him”.

Pablo through his hands up in the air and then folded them. He looked angry.

Pablo”So what did happen?”.

Angie”Well when I entered the house Herman was holding some tutoring agency papers. He was looking for a tutor for Violetta. Then I chickened out and said I have come to apply”.

Pablo”God Angie, if you keep this lie going then it will only get worse”.

Angie” I know Pablo I will tell him the truth and Violetta too.

Angie then hugged Pablo and walked off linking his arm.
