Chapter 18- Dinner with Beto and Pablo

Angie was in a rush to get to the studio. She has now gone back to the studio full time. Herman had agreed to let Violetta go to school. She told Herman that she joined an academy. When really she was attending the studio. Angie ran down the stairs in a panic.

Hermann”Breakfast Angie?”.

Angie”Can’t stop.Violettas late and I have something important to do”.

Violetta”Quick Angie. Here have a slice of toast. Can’t leave on an empty stomach”.

Angie”Thanks Vilu. Now we have to go”.

Violetta”Okay Angie.Bye Dad”.

Angie”Come on Vilu”.

Herman”Bye Vilu. See you later Angie”.

Angie”Bye”.

They ran to the door and opened it Violetta and Angie kept running. Jade sat down next to Herman.

Jade”Whats the hurry my love?”.

Herman”Violettas late for class and Angie has some important to do”.

Jade looked suspicious.

Angie and Violetta were at the studio. Violetta was working on her song with Fran and Cami. Meanwhile Angie was in the teachers’ lounge with Beto and Pablo.

Angie”Hey Beto”.

Beto”You okay Angie?”.

Angie”Yes I was wondering if you and Pablo wanted to come to dinner with me tonight?”.

Pablo”Yes that would be great”.

Beto”I would love to”.

Angie”Okay meet me at the Castillo house. We can go to the restaurant from there”.

Pablo”Okay where are we going?”.

Angie”How about Pepi’s Italian?”.

Pablo”Yes okay”.

Beto”Great. Well I’ll see you both later”.

Angie”Okay see you at 6”.

Angie was in her room getting ready to go out with Pablo and Beto. She heard Herman shout her name. Angie came down stairs.

Angie”Yes what is it Herman?”.

Herman “Aren’t you coming down for dinner?”.

Angie gasped she has forgot to tell Herman where she was going tonight.

Angie”Herman I’m so sorry I forgot to tell you. I am dinning out tonight”.

Herman”Okay Angie”.

Angie went back to her room. She chose to wear a Red dress with a pair of black heels. Then the doorbell went. It was Pablo and Beto. Herman opened the door.

Pablo”Were here to pick up Angie”.

Beto”Yes is she ready?”.

Herman”No she isn’t. Why don’t you come in and wait”.

Pablo”Okay thanks”.

Just then Angie came down. Herman’s eyes were glued to Angie. Angie looked at Pablo.

Angie”So Pablo will I do?”.

Pablo grabbed Angies hand and twirled her around.

Pablo”You’ll do perfectly”.

Herman’s face was green with envy.

Angie”I just need to go get my bag”.

Angie walked over to the table. Violetta was sat down. She looked at Angie.

Violetta”Angie you look so pretty”.

Angie”Thanks Vilu. I’ll see you later”.

Angie rejoined Pablo and Beto.

Pablo”Come on lets go”.

Angie”See you later”.

Angie linked Pablo and Beto. She had a man on each arm. Herman was still looking at Angie. They left then Violetta came in.

Violetta”Dad do you have feeling for Angie?”.

Herman”No Vilu. I love Jade”.

Violetta”Really?Jade’s a liar unlike Angie”.

Herman”Violetta that is enough!”.

Violetta looked upset.

Violetta”I’m going to my room!”.

Herman”Come back Violetta. I’m talking to you1”.

Violetta entered her room and slammed the door shut.

Angie came home. Herman was in his office looking upset.

Angie”Herman are you okay?”.

Herman”Oh Angie I didn’t hear you come in”.

Angie”Whats the matter?”. Angie sat down then grabbed Herman’s hand.

Angie”Okay if you don’t want to talk about it now its fine. I’m here if you ever want to speak”.

Herman looked a lot better.

Herman”Thank you Angie. It’s Violetta. I don’t think she likes Jade”.

Angie”Violetta might not like Jade. Have you ever wondered how Violetta feels about you having another partner after her Mother? It can’t be easy for her. Just give her time to adjust”.

Herman”I never thought about it that way”.

Angie”Just keep an open mind Herman”. Angie smiled at Herman.

Herman”Thank you Angie. You’ve got a way with words”.

Angie”Your welcome. Well I better get to bed”.

Herman”Hang on Angie. How was dinner with Pablo and Beto?”.

Angie”It was Interesting. I had a lovely time. Goodnight and sweet dreams”.

Herman”Goodnight Angie”.
