The Perfect Dress

Soon the teenagers' exams were over and after Nikki's final science exam she and friends head into town to go prom dresses shopping, it was only three weeks away and Nikki felt very much behind with everything. As she was living with Conor and his sons she hadn't got any money so had to approach her father who surprisingly gave her more money than she had asked for as a way of apology.

She quickly headed back to Conor's which she now called home after Conor allowing her to stay for as long as possible, despite her being in the early days of a relationship with Jack, Conor forbade the pair to sleep in the same bed and that they should follow the family tradition of no sex before marriage. But the pair were unsure of how long that would last with mentions of having sex together passed around every so often.

Nikki quickly changes into some casual clothing before leaving the house and heading into town where she meets up with Naomi and Anita. Their first point of call is a coffee shop to chat and talk about everything and anyone, "So come on Nikki, how's lover boy?" Anita chuckles knowing full well by now that Jack and Nikki are in a relationship together.

"He's good, gone to play football with the lads... I didn't want him snooping in on my dress," Nikki smiles cheerfully sipping her coffee.
"You two have been together all of five minutes and are acting like a married couple," Naomi smirks causing Nikki to roll her eyes at him.

"Money on you two having kids before you're nineteen," Anita chips in and Nikki shapes her head up shaking her head frantically.
"Oh no, no way... over my dead body. I want a life and a job before kids," Nikki responds.

The conversation continues and her two friends ask loads of questions about Jack including if she has done the deed yet including any sexual favours or even seen each other naked but to her friend's disappointment Jack and Nikki haven't even seen each other naked never mind doing anything sexual together.
The girls move on from the coffee shop and head around town looking in all the shops before walking into a lingerie shop, "Now Nikki... I hope you're going all the way with Jack on prom night. Wear these bad boys and you will have sex offered to you by him for weeks after" Noami remarks picking up a pair of thong-style pants.

"You've got the arse for it Niks..." Anita adds as she feels Nikki's bum.
Nikki moves away from Anita's hand and rolls her eyes as she continues to look at the bra's. "No way, I don't want Jack thinking I'm some common whore," Nikki responds batting away the pair of knickers Naomi is holding.

She places them down and turns around, "Oh... my... god... Nikki, you need this, this is so you!" Noami announces. Nikki huffs rolling her eyes and following Anita over to Naomi who is stood looking up at a Lingerie full set. "Come on Nikki, this is so you... Diamante Thong Suspender and Stocking Set. And it's a bargain, fifteen pounds down from thirty."

Nikki had to admit she loved it and maybe it could wow Jack on prom night, they had already booked a hotel together for the evening and with having privacy she had planned to give Jack a naked strip so he could finally see her naked, but she loved the lingerie set more than anything right now and she wanted it.

Waiting until Noami and Anita have moved away not wanting to be teased by them for it. She picks up a set in a size eight and heads to the changing rooms and tries it on, looking at herself in the mirror she felt whole new confidence coming over her. After trying it on she heads to the tills and purchases it before walking out of the shop and waiting for Anita and Noami to come out and meet her.

After a few minutes, Anita and Noami come out of the show both with a bag each and smirk at Nikki noticing the same branded shopping bag, "Jack's going to love that... better go buy yourself some condoms or get yourself on the pill," Anita teases.

"Give it a rest Nita... Nikki doesn't want to hear it. Now come on dress shopping," Noami butts in saving Nikki from having to show what she had brought, as they walk to the dress shop Nikki thinks about how she should buy at least some form of protection even though she didn't want to come off desperate to Jack, but knowing her luck they would be caught off guard.

They walk into the dress shop Nikki had been looking at in the catalogs and all the girls begin to browse the rails looking for something nice to wear. Nikki finds the dress she wanted the most and pulls it out to look at it and smiles happily to herself noticing all the little details in the dress including the purposely split side where her leg.
Walking to the changing rooms with the dress she meets Anita who has pulled out a dress, "Black? really?" She quizzes.
"Yes, I like it..." Nikki smiles walking into the empty changing room cubical.

Undressing herself she gets into the mermaid scoop neck evening dress and zips it up at the side running her hands over the beaded sequins on the sides and looks at herself in the mirror. She was never one to go with the first choice but she could picture herself with her hair in an updo with loose curls and diamond pins holding it all in place, this was the dress.

Soon she undresses and heads to the tills and buys it before heading to another shop with her friends to find a suitable set of evening heels or shoes. Once she has everything she wants she heads back home to find Jack lounging on the sofa playing on the play station with his brother, noticing Jack hasn't realized she is back she rushes upstairs and puts away the dress and stuff for the prom so he doesn't see.
