Shyness formed in the pit of my stomach as I progressed up the stairs. Nonetheless I smiled, as a lady who I remember to be Catalina reached out her hand to greet again.
"Mikayla I'd like to extend a warm welcome to you and your family at our residence." She said kindly. "Hi Mrs. Cullen, it's a pleasure to finally see you again." I said, as I let go of the embrace. With a smile and a shake of her head, she shared disappointment with me being too formal. "Please don't bother with the formalities. You can call me Catalina."
I switched to the left to show my family and nodded. "These are my sisters, Cassie and Mariah. I do have a brother and cousin that lives with us, Beau and Lavender. But, they are away on business." I told them, smiling.
She said, with an even bigger smile "You have a lovely family. Please come inside; I've prepared a meal. I nodded and motioned my family to enter. And, when we walked in, the blonde woman turned her back to us giving us a weird look, and continuing to walk forward. Cassie became aware of this and gave her a deathly glare, waiting for her to try something. Carlise and Catalina exchanged apologetic glances with Cassie. And joined the rest of them in the house.
We had taken a tour of their lovely house. The colorful paintings on the walls, the furniture, and the color scheme were all just stunning. My props to Catalina for a wonderful looking home. We walked straight into what seemed to be the living room when we reached the top of the stairs. And then we entered the kitchen.
We had gone a little further into the kitchen, which was absolutely beautiful. Carlise and Catalina sat at the head of the table, whatever Catalina had cooked was smelling divine. I was a little nervous because I wasn't sure whether we should go ahead and sit or not. "Mikayla, I'm aware you've met my daughters, but I'd like you to also meet my sons." She said, kindly
Edward, Alexander, Jasper, and Emmett she introduced us to them. And, to they were good looking was a understatement.
Rosalie returned a slight smile after Mikayla turned to face her and introduced herself. "We've prepared a meal for you all." Carlise elaborated. Causing Mariah to clapp happily "It looks really good. Catalina, you're a fantastic chef." Mariah expressed her gratitude. Causing Catalina to blush at the little ones kindness.
Alex, stared at his mate and if his heart could beat out his chest it would. She was so beautiful to him. Her personality was bubbly and her smile and eyes lit up his whole world. He wanted her, not in a sexually way, but wanted her as to keep her as his.
