"Ouchhhh!" Zy yelled as I combed out his hair
"Boy your being dramatic" I said smacking my teeth
"No the fuck I'm not. You combing my shit like you wanna beat my ass" he said
"Zion I told you about all the cursing in my house. You not grown" his mom, Vicky said
"My bad ma" he said
"Princess you hungry?" She asked me
I met his mom a little after I met him and she is so nice. Shoot I wish she was my mom.
"Yes"
"Okay Ima go get y'all some chick fila. Do you need anything else for Zorianas hair?" She asked me and I shook my head no
She left and I finished on Zys braids. I slapped his head telling him to get up so I could stretch.
"Tell her come downstairs" I said referring to his sister
He called her and she came running down the stairs and flopped on the couch. She already has her hair washed so I was just gonna give her some box braids.
"Can you make them real long? Like extra long?" She said
"No, do her shit regular" Zy said as he tied his durag
"I gotchu" I whispered in her ear
"Where True at?" Zy asked me
"At home. Smoke put her on punishment because her grades look terrible"
"Damn I can't have 3 dumb sisters" he said
"Boy I got straight A's" Zori said
"My grades Ight" I said shrugging
A couple minutes later their mom walked in and gave us each a bag of food. I took a break and began eating some
"So next year is your last year Princess. You thinking about any colleges?" Vicky asked me
"I'm actually thinking about Howard since it's like right around the corner. I don't wanna go far" I said
"That's good. I know a couple people up there so let me know if you want me to put a good word in for you" she said
"Thank you, I would really appreciate it"
Once I was done Zori's hair she got up to go look at it in another room and Zy had went to the bathroom so it was just me and Vicky.
"Vicky can I ask you something?" I said looking down
