I woke up and rubbing my eyes. I reached over to grab my phone and looked at the date. I sighed and threw my phone on the bed.
"Fuck" I mumbled holding back tears
I still can't forgive myself. How am I even supposed to forgive myself. I was giving her the cold shoulder and we weren't even on good terms. I felt useless when it happened right in-front of me.
My phone started ringing and it was Sarai, Saiges mom. I can really say she stuck by me through everything. I sent Raina back with my mom so Sarai let me stay with them so she could help out with Seylah.
"Hey baby. How are you?" She asked sounding like she was crying
"Not even gonna lie. This shit hurt." I said
"I know... Seven and I are going to see her. You know you can come with us" She said
"Ight let me know I'll meet y'all there" I said
"Okay. We'll be leaving out around 11"
"See you later" I said hanging up
I got up and washed my face then brushed my teeth. I walked to Seylah's room and she was just waking up.
"Good morning Peanut" I said smiling m
"Daddy!"
She started reaching for me and I picked her up. I walked to the kitchen and put her in her play pen. She not walking yet but Babygirl fast as hell when she crawl. She reminds me so much of her.
I made us some breakfast and when we were done I clean her up and got her ready. I made her look a lil extra cute for her mama. I got dressed and grabbed her baby bag.
"Let's go see mommy" I said and her face lit up
Sey go crazy everytime I mention Saige. She definitely get happy when she hear her talking in videos.
I put her in the car and told Sarai I was on my way to the cemetery. It took me like 20 minutes to get there and I got out and carried Sey over to her stone.
I kinda froze when I stood in front of her tombstone. This is the first time so I've never been here before. I just felt too guilty.
"Dad!" I heard making me turn around to see Seven
"Wassup man" I said leaning down to give him a hug
A little after Saige passed, Seven accidentally called me daddy. It caught me off guard but I told him he could call me that. He's my responsibility too now.
