~WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU BOTH?!"A shout greets us as we exit the car. Sebastian is standing in the empty parking spot beside my car, flanked by Riya and Rachel on his sides, glaring at both me and Bennett, his hands folded and an angry frown on his face.
"Bro, chill," Bennett says as he walks over to him with a calm expression, holding my hand lightly. A blush starts to creep on my face.
Sebastian's glare hardens as he sees our hands. "Where the hell were you both?! Do you know how worried all of us were?" he scolds us and glances back at Rachel and Riya. Rachel doesn't look much angry but worried and Riya looks more worried than anyone even though she looks relieved that we are back.
Riya has been quiet since that night of the party, all of us have tried talking to her but didn't press the matter much since she didn't want to talk about it. The past few days, she has been constantly looking over her shoulder as if that guy is following her. I guess she knows who that guy was.
"Seb, cool down. We got bored and decided to skip. We were at the animal shelter, Fur and Fluff," he says as puts his hand on Seb's shoulder.
Sebastian pushes Ben's hand off his shoulder, "COOL DOWN?! YOU ARE ASKING ME TO COOL DOWN?" he shouts as he scowls at me and Bennett.
"Yes, can you please stop this, Seb," I try to calm him down but of course he still looks like there is steam coming out of his ears.
"Avery, don't. Just don't! And tell me why the hell were you not answering any of our calls or texts?" he says enraged.
"When we went inside the pet shop, Ben accidentally left his phone in the car and my phone died on the way there. That's why we couldn't answer it."
"Ah, I see. Bennett, who the hell forgets their phone in a freaking car?" Rachel shrieks shaking her head disappointedly. "I expected better from my other half."
Sebastian grabs Bennett's hand and pulls him away from everyone and he starts whisper-shouting at him with frantic hand gestures. It's impossible to hear what they are speaking from where I am standing.
And then Bennett starts saying something and this goes on for a little while.
Both of them return after some time. Sebastian not as annoyed as before and Bennett gives me a reassuring smile which indicates 'don't worry this idiot will soon be back to his annoying self' and I giggle in return.
Sebastian sighs. "Shall we go now?" he asks and gives me a side hug as a goodbye. He walks to his car and starts it.
Bennett comes and gives me a hug and a light kiss on the cheek, I blush a little. "I had fun today. I am hoping there will be a next time-"
"If you both are done, may I say bye to Avie?" Rachel says as she shoves Bennett a little. He winks and gets in his car.
"Avie, was I dreaming, or did my twin finally make a move? Even though it wasn't a lot but at least a start!" Rachel squeals and I blush.
"What did I miss at school? Did anything interesting happen?"
"Nope, it was as boring as ever. Actually, without you, it was a whole lot more boring," she says as she pouts and I laugh lightly.
"Rachel, if you don't enter the car in the next 5 seconds, I am leaving you here!" Sebastian shouts as he pokes his head out from the window of his car and honks.
