Then_and_Now_CHAPTER01
"What's wrong with you Jisoo?" My older sister Jiyoon asked. I met with her in the nearest cafe to our dorm. When I say it's the nearest it means you have to ride two buses from here, that's how near this cafe is. I just got back from work. We attended the AAA 2016 yesterday. And it was the first time I saw him, again. They performed their hits Fire and Blood Sweat and Tears. I have told my members that something was going on between us before. But they didn't ask further. And I don't really care about it now.
But then I think Jennie is involved with one of his member. Based from what I observed in the award show earlier. And I am very worried about Jennie.
"Are you bothered because you saw Suga? Or because you saw Jin?" I glared to my sister whose now happily sipping on her iced americano drink. She even wiggled her eyebrows.
I slammed both of my hands on the table out of frustration! I am not thinking about the eldest of BTS until she mentioned his name, this silly girl really knows how to make me mad.
"Stop saying their names!" I whisper-shouted. She acts like she's zipping her mouth and crossed her fingers. She's back to browsing on her phone.
"Your face is all over social media Jisoo, they said you look exactly like Jin but a girl version. Well if you're gonna ask me, I don't want him to be our brother. " She emphasised the name Jin. That's when I realized that it's just a harmless act right? My face being compared with his face. And for goodness sake, some of them are pairing me to him!
Why do people make it into a big deal?!
"Stop saying things related to them and us please." I begged to her. She put down her phone and began asking me things about my members and my work.
We hanged out after eating our late dinner, it was past 12 midnight that she decided to go home. I walked her until the bus stop, I bid her goodbye and take care before I waited for a taxi.
Few minutes of waiting but there is no signs of taxi maybe because it's so late already. I began walking to the dorm. And I am worried that my manager will lash the hell out of me when he finds out I'm still not home.
I can sensed that there's a car in the highway just across the street that slowed down, I walk in a faster pace when it did a U-turn. I can feel that the car is following me because I can hear the engine getting nearer.
I heard the driver opening the car door and that's when I am gonna run but a firm hand held both of my arms to keep me from moving and brings me back to place. I was about to shout when I heard a familiar voice.
"Don't shout Jisoo." I turned around only to see Jin wearing his casual clothes and a pair of thick glasses and a mask. I know it's him cause they have different height. Wait why am I comparing? And what am I saying?
"You scared the hell out of me! You should have call my name!" I got off his hold from me. He was a bit taken aback by my sudden actions but he composed himself.
"And then when I call your name aloud, people will come here like a crazy dispatch." I shut my mouth to what he said because it's true. I nearly forgot that we are now idols and we can't just call each other like we used to.
When they got debuted only Jin stayed in touch with me. We saw each other during gatherings with our families. And he is consistent. But his other member whom I hated most, act like we don't know each other.
I am not against it actually it kinda help me to move on. But you know, how can he act like we don't know each other?
After that trip with them it became a painful past that I never want to go back.
"Let's go, I'll take you home." I wanna refused but I'm thinking it's impossible for me to go home at this hour! And my members will be mad.
I nodded at him. He didn't bother opening the car door for me because I insisted. He went to the driver's door and hopped in. I hopped inside and buckled the seat belt. He did the same and started the engine.
His left arm is leaning against the window while his right hand is holding tightly the steering wheel. He looked so expert while driving and I must say he looks attractive even if his face is not that visible.
"Stop staring." I turn my head to the road feeling so embarrassed. I just got caught!
"Are you okay now? Are you doing fine?" He opens a topic. I nodded before answering yes. "What I mean is did you moved on?"
I arched my brows at his question.
"Don't ask me about it Jin, it's none of your business." I know I sounded defensive but that's the only way I can escape his questions. I don't wanna share to him what I've went through while moving on because first, they lived in one roof. Second, they're like brothers.
"I'm sorry." I was shocked that he apologised but I didn't show it. "Will you let me court you then?" Now that's shock-er! What is he talking about?!
"What the hell are you saying?!" I shouted at him. He chuckled for a moment before he turn his gaze to me.
"I know you're single and I am too. Just let me court you."
"Is that your new daddy jokes? Because I swear to heavens it's not working on me. So cut the crap Jin."
He sighed deeply, turning his gaze back to the road. "I wished that it's also a joke." He whispered but I still heard it.
My eyes squinted at his remark.
Okay I'll tell you guys what we used to before. When me and his member dated in Gwacheon every summer before. Yes just in summer! He is always there!
Jin is always there to look over for us. He's more like a dispatch who keeps on tailing us! At first I find him weird but I find him dependent so we let him follow us.
He was the first one to arrive when I have a date with his member. He'll accompany me throughout. When his member asked me out in front of Jin, that's when he stop following us. He said, he'll be busier since he needs to transfer to Seoul. At first I kinda hope that he was joking, but he wasn't. He even told me that Yoongi is a good guy. And that he promised to him that he'll take care of me.
But when Yoongi broke up with me because he will start his passion to music, this eldest member came back to me like he is just waiting for Yoongi to let me go.
"We're here. Cover your face, you just started your career as an idol and dispatch is everywhere." I was cut from my trance of thought when he started to talk.
"T-thank you." I said as I hopped out of the car.
I run as fast as I can to the entrance of the building of our dorm while my face is bowing. I hope nobody saw me went out from his car.
"Does that mean he likes me?" I asked to myself as soon as I reached our dorm's door.
"Who unnie?" I turn around to where the voice came from, only to see Jennie.
Shit I need to find an excuse!
