A Bratty Baby

Yoongi would say today was going better than the first day Jin had to work. Jungkook had still had his meltdown, which also caused Namjoon to have one but it was a little easier to get the youngest to come eat. The youngest baby was obviously still a little wary of him but honestly seemed desperate for attention. Even as upset he was he didn't push him away when he held him. Yoongi didn't quite know how to feel about it. As happy he was that he accepted his comfort, unlike Namjoon, it hurt to see how attention starved the baby was.

Speaking of Namjoon, the baby still obviously did not want him to be the one caring for him. Jin had even had to warn him again that morning for his attitude towards Yoongi. The eldest caregiver obviously getting tired of the disrespectful attitude. Yoongi wasn't surprised. With how well behaved Jungkook and Jimin were around Jin he knew his hyung ran a tight ship. Honestly though, it was going to be a lot of work with Namjoon. He wasn't comfortable being a disciplinarian to Namjoon just as much as Namjoon wasn't comfortable with him disciplining him. Still the disrespectful attitude needed to end.

Yoongi sat Jungkook down in the living room, the baby still sniffly and teary but fed and no longer sobbing. Namjoon was also sniffling but playing softly with the foam blocks. It almost made Yoongi laugh at the way he pouted at Yoongi like he caused Jin to leave. However he knew better than to encourage the baby's behavior. Jin might turn his scolding onto him if one of the babies snitched on him.

The other two babies seemed to be attached at the hip. Jimin had spent most of his morning with Hoseok, being spoiled of course, but about half an hour ago he'd come out of their room saying his daddy was feeling fuzzy again and needed some alone time. To be honest Yoongi was quite confused by this but Jimin didn't seem too alarmed, like it was a normal occurrence. He really wanted to check on the man but decided against it not wanting to upset the babies by disappearing. And honestly Hoseok might want nothing to do with him. They hadn't even had a true conversation. He definitely didn't have the best opinion of him to begin with because the way he saw him acting with the little ones but he had to admit he really knew nothing about the man. Yoongi couldn't decide if he felt guilty for judging Hobi or not.

Taehyung was probably the one that was adjusting to all these changes the best. It wasn't that much of a surprise to Yoongi, the baby was always happy. Outside of when he wasn't getting his way of course. The little one just seemed happy to have playmates. Yoongi had always felt guilty, he never had enough time or energy to keep up with the baby. And Tae had desperately wanted Namjoon as a playmate, but Joon hadn't been ready yet. He never engaged with little Taehyung because he was scared it would make him slip. And with Yoongi working it had left Tae with boundless energy. The caregiver always felt bad because he knew the baby needed more stimulation but that didn't excuse the poor behavior Tae exhibited when he was cooped up. Breaking plates because you want to run around outside was not an excuse as far as Yoongi was concerned.

Now though, the baby seemed to be doing better. There were new toys to play with and new littles to interact with. All the littles have gotten along pretty well but Tae seemed to bond with Jimin the most. Namjoon and Kookie were just a little more timid and got overwhelmed a little by Tae's personality. He wasn't out of control but he was definitely loud and had a lot of energy. Something little Jimin found amusing, probably from being used only having Jungkookie around who is very quiet and shy.

Yoongi, however, was finding today Tae and Jimin, as much as they seemed to love eachother, also seemed to love to bicker. Yoongi had already had to take away several toys from them because they couldn't stop fighting over them and they'd both had to sit on the time out step for mean behavior.

Yoongi would have thought they'd be mad at each other after that, but no. Every time they'd go right back to playing nicely, even if it fell into bickering not even half an hour later.
