Maybe I'm just overreacting? Yeah, Heather seems the same kind girl she's always been. She even cares for me...

You think as you sat in class. The bells ring and you alone walk to the cafeteria. You lower your head as you walk thinking about your dad. You planned to go to visit him at the hospital after school but you needed a job. You need to find a job or make money the other way.

You push the doors opened and entered the cafeteria. You felt a feeling of regression somehow. As if you didn't want to come here anymore. You turned around, about to push the doors opened to get out until someone called your name.

"Y/N!" Taehyung stopped you. You slowly turned around, "Yes?"

"Where are you going?" He asked you with worry.

"Nowhere now...What do you want?" You asked with a little of an attitude. Taehyung stopped and stepped forward inches away from your face. "You need to have some time to relax...This isn't healthy for you...I promise I will help you get money," He says quietly.

"But I said–"

"I know what you said, but I don't like seeing the one I love with such pain in her eyes..." He explained putting his hand behind your neck. You looked down in guilt. "O–Okay," Your voice cracked. He grabs your hand and leads you to the table where your friends were and Heather. Your friends were having a conversation with Heather. They stopped once seeing you and Taehyung.

Heather continued talking with her soothing voice that made everyone fall in love. Even you. Imagine her singing. She'll be such an angel. Not that she isn't already.

"Hey, Y/n..." Taehyung started. You answered with an "Mhm?" Taehyung sighed, "Let's go on a date after school. I'll make you feel better,"

"Where are we going?"

"I don't know...The Town and hang out I guess," Taehyung said. You smiled, "Okay," Heather quickly jumped up, "Oh! Oh! Can I come?" She asked with a lot of energy.

"Sure you can," Taehyung giggled. What? That easy? You were in shock. You didn't want her to come but you didn't want to make Taehyung mad. He just got to see his best friend again after years of seeing each other. People might just think your a possessive and jealous girlfriend.

You sighed in disappointment. "Mari, could you pick up my brothers?" You favored her. She nodded with support. "I'm going home, Pick me up after school," You say you stood up.

"No–But Y/n–"

"I'm sorry Taehyung..." You say and leave. Taehyung was left in shock at the fact you called him by his full name. Taehyung pouted. He was sensitive and Heather knew. "Tae, It's okay...She's going through something and she might want to have some time alone...She has to handle many things now that her dad is in hospital..." Heather explained holding on to his shoulders to listen.

"You don't understand...I need to be with her...I love her..." Taehyung lamented. He let out a heavy sigh, "Mari you should know, you're her best friend..."

Mari didn't seem to say anything. Just looked at Taehyung with doubt. "I remember Y/n saying, I will learn to take care of myself...It's just a sign that I need to grow up. I won't be a baby anymore...After her mother's death...she just changed...She grew up too quickly," Hitomi said with her soft voice.

"Now she lives with the worry of losing the people she loves..." Alisha finished.
