07: Downhill

Taehyung drove you to the hospital. You stared out the window and looked into the city. Taehyung parks near the hospital and turns of the gears. "Okay...we're here..." Taehyung says with a smile and looked at you and your brothers in the back. The three of you were silent and motionless. Taehyung formed his lips into a line. 

"Come on Y/n. Let's go see your father," Taehyung said getting out of the car. You sighed and you and your brother got out of the cars and slam the door shut. You walk into the hospital and asked for your father. You enter the room first. You saw your dad looking up at the plain seeing. Josh and Eric broke between you and Taehyung. 

"DAD!" They yelled. Your father looked at them and smiled. He hugged them and you decided to join. Taehyung stays behind. "Dad look what we got you!" Said Eric, showing him the presents. 

"Wow! Thank you so much..." Your dad said weekly. Your dad glances at Taehyung, holding a 'Get well soon' ballon and the Amaryllis flowers. "Taehyung, It's nice to see you. Come here," Your dad singled him. Without talking, Taehyung moved forward. 

"Are those Amaryllis?" He asked. 

"Yes sir..." Taehyung answered.

Your father grabbed them from Taehyung's hand and took a look at them. "They're fake..." He said in disappointment. "Sorry, dad. I couldn't find real ones..." You confessed. Your dad looks at you and smiled. 

"It's okay. I'm thankful you brought these here. They remind me of your mother and my beautiful strong daughter..." You laughed and lowered your head. 

Your laugh disappeared when seeing Joshes face. Full of worry and fear. You glanced at the heart monitor. Still beeping. Taehyung and your father chatted as you looked at the heart monitor. The noise around started to blur. All you could hear is the beeping. You started to gain anxiety in the fear of the long beep sound. Your breathing started to intense.  Your hands trembled. You tapped the floor with your heel quickly. Your eyes widen slowly. 

"Y/N!" Taehyung called.

You snapped back to reality and looked at Taehyung, panting. "Our time is over. We have to go," Taehyung told you. You shook your head, "No!" 

"Y/n we have to."

"No--"

"Y/n listen to him," Your father snapped. You gasped and looked down. "Alright..." You say and stood up. Eric and Josh followed behind you and said their last goodbyes to your dad. You noticed how weak he got from last time. You still wondered if you can get the money in time. The 4 of you went back to the car. Taehyung silently started the car. You banged your head on the window of the car and looked outside. Taehyung slowly turns to look at you.

He bit his lip and looked away. He sighs and drives you off to your house. "Y/n, we're home..." Taehyung says softly. You got your head up and looked at him. "Thank you for the ride..." You say and opened the door of the car. Your brothers followed. You stepped the car about to close the door but Taehyung spoke. 

"You're not going to pay me?"

You stopped and raised your eyebrow in confusion. "Pay you?" You restated. "I don't have money," You added. 

"I don't want money," He said. You opened your mouth to say something, but you were confused. Taehyung smirked. "I want a kiss," He said. You mentally slapped yourself. "Oh-Oh right..." You said with a shaky voice and crawled back inside the car and leaned in, waiting for him to kiss your cheek. He rolled his eyes and smiled. He grabbed your cheeks and pecked your lips. 

You opened your eyes in shock. You didn't know what to say. You silently got out of the car and closed the door. Taehyung lowered his head slowly and looked forward. He was disappointed by your reaction. You opened the door of your house. You can hear Taehyung driving off. You grabbed your phone and called Mari. Mari answered the phone.
