Tonight is the night. The night of the performance with Heather. You dressed up in a medium dress with a leather jacket on top and put on your black converse. You looked at yourself in the mirror and pose. You did your natural makeup. You covered your eyebags and pores and put on eyeliner and mascara.

You lastly did your hair. You knew that this was your night. The night you shined. Before you left you grabbed your gun and hid it inside your jacket just in case. You left your house and walked to school.

You saw many people gathering up at the auditorium. "I can do this!" You whispered to yourself. You enter the school. You walked between people. You felt the world go in slow motion. You felt nervous but confident. You enter the auditorium and headed backstage where other performers go together.

You had no one. Only Heather, and you don't want to talk to her. You saw a guitar and you decided to take it. You sat down beside the door and played the guitar. You bopped your head as you hummed lyrics. You flinched as you suddenly heard the door open. You quickly stood up and were about to open your mouth to apologize until you saw who it was.

"Heather..."

"Y/n, I thought you weren't coming?" She started. Heather glances at the guitar and spoke, "Looks like you're holding something that's mine..."

"This? Take it if it's yours," You said handing her the guitar. Heather places her hands in front of her chest refusing to take the guitar. "You take it, Y/n. You're the one playing it for our performance," Heather smiled. You slowly take back the guitar and placed it down feeling uneasy about Heather's smile.

"By the way, we are going last cause we are going to be the best," Heather informed, whispering the last part. She grabbed a piece of your hair, "You look beautiful. You should dress like this often. All eyes would be on you."

You took her hand off your hair, "Don't touch me." You walked off to the audience and sat down at your seat with the guitar in your hands. After, a few minutes Heather came to sit next to you. You were disappointed that you didn't get a 'good luck' from Taehyung. You saw him here earlier. With Heather.

The performances started. People went on stage and sang. You didn't much attention or clap to anyone. Not until you and Heather were the last ones to get on stage. You and Heather headed to different parts of the stage and the people there gave you your microphone.

You exhaled before stepping up on stage. This is for you, for your mother, for your father, and your brothers. This is for them. For everyone who stayed during this. For their love. You stepped onto the stage and faced Heather who was on the opposite end. You both walk closer to each other and faced each other. You gulped and placed the mic into a stand and started playing the guitar.

You started to sing your lines then Heather. You were shocked about Heather's sweet beautiful voice that worried you. You started to feel jealous of her voice you played the guitar a bit more loudly and passionately. Both of your voices harmonized together making one single voice. You felt like she was defeating you and crushing your heart. Like she said. She's going to kill you. The song ended with Heather's vocals. You glare at her then the crowd started clapping proudly.

"I really like this girl! Such a good performer!" Rob Stringer announced. You smiled happily and placed down the guitar. Heather Jumped off stage and everyone gathered up around her. Rob Stringer heads to her. You were puzzled and walked in the middle of the stage as you watched everything happen. You had the microphone in your hand and gripped it tightly as everyone congratulated her. No one noticed you. You were confused. You did most of the work. You cleaned up the place and got it ready. You didn't understand.
