you won't understand

i came back to my department. sigh i missed my lunch because of that energyball. 

i just grabbed a sandwich n have it on the way to classroom. i went to the farther corner of the classroom and and sat down to take a nap. unexpectedly on my usual seat there is sitting a person. "Beam " i spoke in my mind.

"Hey pha , class is about to start. You came on time", beam said looking at me.

"Yeah just went to drop my cousin.", i don't know why i said it but don't want him to misunderstand me. 

but i don't regret saying as i can see the beautiful smile blooming on Beam's face.

"so that was your cousin sitting in cafeteria with you . He seems like a very enthusiastic person."beamsaid.

"oh please don't ask he is headache. i don't where all the energy come from that shortie."i replied taking adjacent seat. 

beam laughed at my remark. "i can understand i have  my fair share of experience with my cousins too. their unrestrained behavior with you shows your bond strength.  When my  cousin Rui visits me, she won't let me take a breath for a second.  '' bee what is this what is that? beeee i want this i want that.... "beam was talking non-stop. i smiled listening while his blabbering attentively.

"i am boring you aint i ?"he replied shyly.

"No no its a very interesting topic. now i can rest assured that everyone is getting tortured like me. i am not the only one who is fed up of that energyball." i replied smilingly.

"pha can i ask a personal question if you don't mind" beam asked in a  hesistant voice.

i got amused seeing his face expressions. 

"sure ask me anything. i don't mind at all" i replied

"are you in a relationship or pursuing somebody?" he asked in with slight fear in his eyes like if i said yes. he will die there and then. 

 i smiled slightly , "no, i am not in a relationship with anyone. "

"do you umm mind ...." beam tried to say something but lecturer came. He sat straight like an obedient student.

you were sayingsomething?", i asked Beam  when lecturer got busy in  connecting laptop with projector cable. eventhough i can guess what is he trying to say and  i already he will not say it now by looking at his embarrassed expression. 

"Nnnotthing.."he replied with head absorbed in books.

i smiled secretely. "ok " i replied in a light tone.
