I changed quite a lot with this, lolol. Even deleted the OG instead of rewriting which caused the reads to go down. But eh... The other didn't seem that good enough. That's all, hehe.

Kevin was in the school's library with his girlfriend, looking for a Sci-Fi book to read. Or just anything to read that was about space. Once he found one though, he groaned as it was on the top of the shelf.

"God, I just had to be a short bastard, huh?" He mumbled to himself as he looked around before struggling to grab the book on his own.

Before he could call out his girlfriend's name though, he knocked over a couple of books with one landing right on his head. "Fuck... It just had to be a hard cover that hit me..." He winced in pain as he rubs the top of his head.

Red quickly came to his rescue, having heard the noise he made and decided to tease him about it. "Hey, Kev. You do realize that this is a library, right? And that we need to be absolutely quiet?" She snickered, squatting down and offering a hand to him.

He rolled his eyes at her teasing, having been used to it at this point. "Pft, yes, Red. I've been here a few times already..." He whispers as he grabs her hand and pulls himself up.

"That's good then. No need to lecture you on library etiquette..." She smiled at him as she stood up properly, practically being at eye level with the top shelf. "Anyway, which book do you need help with getting exactly?"

He immediately felt really insecure about his average for his age height as he looked up at her but shook it off as he pointed to the book next to her face. "The Sci-Fi one that's next to your face, please..."

She happily nodded, effortlessly grabbing the book off the shelves and handing it to him. "Here you go, Kev." She gave him her usual beautiful bright smile afterwards.

This gets him all flustered, making him shyly look off to the side and hold the book he was given close to him. "Heh, thank you, Red..."

Red pouts at this, raising a brow and putting her hands on her hips. "Hey, is everything okay, Kev? Something seems to be bothering you..." There was a hint of worry in the tone of her voice.

He looks over at her, ready to tell her that he was fine but only a gasp escaped his mouth as her face was only a few inches way from his. "U-uh.. R-Red? M-mind t-taking a s-step back, p-please?" He stuttered out, taking a step back but only for Red to take another step towards him.

She shook her head, crossing her arms. "Nuh- uh. No way... I am not moving from this position until I figure out what's going on in your head. Like a good girlfriend should do..." She sighed, suddenly realizing what's on his mind. "Oh, I get it... It's... the thing about our heights again, isn't it? Kev-" He cuts her off.

"Yeah, it actually is about that..." He slowly nodded before sighing loudly. "Look, is it bad for me to just want to be able to look right into my girlfriend's gorgeous eyes without having you to get down to my level? And also, to give her a soft and gentle kiss on the forehead for being just the most amazing girl in the universe?"

Her serious nature suddenly disappeared at his words, making her giggle and blush softly. "Oh my God, Kev... That was extremely dorky... But also, sweet... And that's why I'm happy to be your girlfriend..." Then she brushes some of his hair off his forehead and plants a soft kiss on it, smirking as she pulled away. "But, anyway, keep on dreaming with that idea. Because trust me when I say you'll never reach my level~" She teased, playfully sticking a tongue out at him.
