Okay, it is decided that Kevin buys her both Serendipity and then Bailey in a few years time. The puppy here might just be related to Bailey instead like a father or something, lol. As I'd like to think that Bailey is way younger than Serendipity is. So, yeah. Makes no sense if they were both young at the same time and stuff.

I don't think I changed much here other than that, so yeah. Maybe removing the age as idk what to put- As always, hope you enjoy this!

Oh, yeah- Added a random character at the pet store. Up to you to think as to who that is, lolol. As I have no exact interpretation as to who, hahaha. Like I said, random.

It was a week before Red's birthday and being her boyfriend, Kevin wanted to make sure that he was going to get her the most perfect gift he could give her.

Well, at least, that's what her friends told him he should as her boyfriend. Be more romantic and more thoughtful of the gifts he gives her on her birthday, not just giving her a bouquet of red roses each year.

Which confused him a bit as he both knew that they were her favorite flower and that she looked really happy every time she got the gift from him.

But just to get her friends off his back on what he should do as her boyfriend, he decided to agree on buying her a different gift this year.

"God, what to get her? What to get her?" He muttered to himself as he looked through most of the stores at the mall.

He decided to pass by each and every store which he knows that Red frequented but then decided that his girlfriend would probably not be wanting such a predictable gift. Especially from him.

He gulped then let out a loud groan, messing with his hair in frustration. "Ugh! Gah! Why is thinking of a unique and special gift for Red so hard?!" He fixes himself once he realized he was in front of a pet store.

Kevin almost continued walking before a light bulb popped in his head. He knew how much Red always talked her mouth off on always wanting a pet. So, his decision was final. He was getting a pet for her birthday!

As he entered the shop and looked at the many pets inside, he wondered just what exactly kind of pet would be perfect to buy for her. And while he was in deep thought, a small husky puppy randomly started barking at him.

"Hey there, little guy. How's it going?" The male smiled as he got on his knees and immediately began to scratch behind it's ear. "Aww, aren't you a cute thing?"

Now, he knew that Red liked puppies and especially cute ones. But then again, Red also likes how it's absolutely peaceful and quiet it is at their newly moved in home. While he was conflicted on whether or not to buy the puppy, it started to rub it's head against his hand.

He smiled more at this before letting out a small sigh. "I'm so sorry, little guy. You're cute but I think with your endless barking, you'll be out of the house in just a few days with how Red just wants quiet at the moment." Kevin said as he pets the puppy on top of his head.

The puppy might have, oddly enough, understood what he said as it left him in order to go play with the other puppies in the store.
