The small demons began spraying every single bug they saw from the basement to the lobby. They weren't giving the pests a single chance to thrive in the hotel.
The pest control duo went on to kill for about 9 minutes. It didn't matter if the whole hotel had to be sprayed down with insecticides, it was just for how much they can get as they wanted.
"Wooh! We make a killer team, baby!" Niffty pulled him in and hugged Baxter. He blushed at this action obviously, But he was getting accustomed to it. And liking it more and more over time.
"Well, looks like we did it. Anything else you want to do?..." Baxter pulled her off gently.
"Actually, I think I'm done for today. But, Baxter. Thank you. Very much." Niffty tiptoed up to him and gave him a small peck on his cheek.
He took a step back and held his cheek. Also tried to hide his blushes.
"Alright then, I uh-can go work on making more of the bug spray. Ok?" Baxter replied back.
She agreed and they both parted ways. As Baxter went back down to the basement, Niffty walked out of the hotel. Going out of the time she was in that hotel and socializing with her secret friend, Velvet.
Phone in hand and friendfiction book in her purse, she was heading towards their meet-up spot. Their usual hangout spot which was at their favorite coffee shop.
"Velly! Hey! Guess what? My week was incredible! Ok, I'll go first then!" She gossiped and bragged on the phone with her secret bestie, telling her a preview about her whole history of what she saw and experienced. From giving hints about Baxter reading her stories to the new bug spray that her boyfriend developed. Unknowing that she was being followed. Not in the following stalker way, but on different locations, a familiar overgrown spider would spot her in different areas.
