"Could you believe it! An indoor pool! *gasps* and a Jackoozy! I think."

"What is a 'Jakoozy'?" Baxter asked.

"Oh, it's like a smaller part of the pool that's really relaxing and it has warm water with bubbles. It's like uh...a bath! A big bubble bath, But public." Niffty explained.

Baxter just scoffs and examined more of the room. "Is there anyway we can clean this place that easily? This place is massive. Do we need more cleaning tools?" With the lights on, the rooms in the basement were much more visible.
"I should probably bring in my cart but I don't know how to get it down here. If only there was a way to get that elevator working." Niffty pointed at the other room that actually had the elevator door in it.
Suddenly, Baxter's Escalight blinked. A literal lightbulb appeared over his head. "I've got it! If I'm right, the electrical system room should be behind the elevator in the hallway."
"So, What about that room?" Niffty placed a hand under her chin.

"In that room, I can turn on the elevator so you can bring your cleaning cart down here." Baxter explained.

"*gasp* Baxter, you're a genius!" Niffty jumped up.

"Heh, I know." Baxter looked away but smiled nervously. Wow, her annoying compliments actually got to me. Ugh, stop it and focus! We are cleaning!

Maybe that's the compliments that he's looking for. He doesn't want to be called 'sweet' or 'cute', he just wants his intelligence to be praised. Niffty stared at him for a few seconds before he looked back at her.

"Anyway, let's get to that room. Hopefully it won't be too difficult to handle." Baxter ordered. They both walked into the electrical room, it was much rustier and dustier than the other room they cleaned. Baxter tried his best to find the lightswitch but decided it was best to just focus on the buttons to turn on the elevators. After turning on the buttons and flipping the power switch that activates the elevator, Baxter felt a great sense of accomplishment and victory that he yelled out with enthusiasm,
"GIVE ME LIIIIIIIIGHT!!!" A few sparks of electricity sparked out that almost burned them but Baxter maintains an evil grin and both fists raised upwards. This was the best he could do for the times he felt ecstatic from developing chemical weapons successfully. It wasn't the same feeling of accomplishment but it helps.
"Woah! Baxter, you're so cool!" Niffty cried out.
"I am?" He gave a confused and somewhat annoyed look. Baxter has been called many things from evil genius to narcissistic nerd. 'Cool' was new to him.
"Yeah, you are! You got a lightbulb that hangs from your head, you can practically glow in the dark, you can make all these cool cleaning detergents, and you're good with all this engineering stuff. You're awesome! I'm glad I became your friend."
Friend? I thought she was more like an accomplice, an assistant if I realized it. A friend, that's ridiculous. Baxter thought in his head. He didn't know what to answer back so he came up with a simple word. "Okay."
There was a little silence from that answer, until Niffty finally replied, "Okay then, I'll go upstairs and get my cart! I'll be back!".

Niffty skipped towards the elevator with her hands behind her back. Baxter ended up following her but scurried his way to her. "Wait, I should check if it works. Nevermind, it's good." Baxter confirmed. And with that, Niffty hopped into the elevator and gave a smile and a wave to Baxter before the doors closed. Baxter only widened his eyes and raised his eyebrows but everything from his face barely reacted.

"Finally, I'm alone again." He sighed.

"Oh, Niffty, you're done cleaning? Wait, where's Baxter?" Charlie asked still in the lobby. "We're not done yet. And Baxter is still down there. Oh yeah, he's really cool! He got the elevator working! You should probably hire him. He's pretty smart." Niffty answered and praised. She rolled the cart to the elevator, "Don't worry, we're almost done!". And she went back to work with more equipment, which is what got her really motivated.
"Baxter, do you have more cleaning detergents for me?
