Chapter 25: Leviathan Lake Date 3: Levi's Performance (Slight NSFW)

"Should we go over to the main stage now?" Niffty asked.

"I guess so. Especially since he told us to. We might miss this opportunity!"

"But I heard that he does this like once a week!" Niffty jumped down from her high chair and followed Baxter.

This moment to see the great sea monster of Hell was actually quite exciting for Baxter, finally something interesting and new for him that wouldn't try to kill him.

"AAH! NO! BAXTER, THIS SON OF A BITCH JUST STOLE MY PURSE!" Niffty cried out! This made Baxter's escalight blink yellow to red and he acted quickly on instincts! He pulled out a dart gun, turned around, and shot at the demon who stole it. Niffty got out of the way in time and stood behind Baxter. She was amazed by his quick reaction and his slightly calm attitude towards this situation. The thief suddenly stopped and stood still. Baxter walked up to the man and stopped five feet behind him.
"Turn around and give back what you stole to my girlfriend." Baxter coldly said.
The thief did exactly what he was ordered to. Niffty was speechless with a wide eye and lips puckered up in awe when she took it back.
"Now walk to the edge of the pier and jump off." Baxter finished his order. The thief walked to the left and climbed over the wooden rail and jumped off.
"Baxter..."
"It's fine, Niffty. That was a shark breed demon. He can probably swim." Baxter put away his weapon.
"No I mean-what you did was so cool! ~And kinda hot.~ Thank you, babe!" Niffty then immediately threw her arms around him and kissed him immediately! He stood shocked but it was to be expected with her. He placed his hand over her waist and she pulled away from him.
"~oh Baxy, I think I'm pregnant.~"

"WHA?!"

"I'm just kidding! I'm basically saying that your testosterone level at that point was so strong that you just impregnated me with your bad boy energy."

"But you're not pregnant, are you?"

"No, silly."

"That's weirdly complimentful. I'll take it i guess."

"Well, let's go back to the stage now. Don't wanna miss out do you?" Niffty was speed walking up front now. Baxter now felt like having her more in his view to make sure nothing bad happened to her again. Seeing her walk alone just felt somewhat boring and awkward, it was nice to watch over her but this made him look like the lamest boyfriend in the pier. He decided to catch up with her and walk side by side. Niffty did what might usually fluster Baxter and held his hand. He blushed a bit and cleared his throat,
"I just realized you said 'son of a bitch' awhile back."

"Oh? You don't like me cussing?"

"You can cuss...er swear, it's just that I never hear you do it so often."

"Yeah well, my bag got stolen. It has everything I want in it. My phone, wallet, pepper spray, extendo needle sword, and my friendfic book. If my book got stolen and then someone else read it, I'd cry and kill whoever stole it."

"Understandable. And oh look, we're here now!"

The crowd was large and packed up for a view at the end of the pier, it would turn into a thinner yet more extensive boardwalk that became a large ring. It looked like a magnifying glass from above. It was out at the very place where the lake would be at its deeper area and the main attraction, none of the rides and games were supposed to be getting as much attention as the Prince of Envy was supposed to be getting.
"Verdammt! There's too many people here! And I can't see anything except the back of these people's heads." The short couple couldn't see much of the sky except for what Baxter said, and sometimes their hats.
"Bax, we're short. We still have an advantage. C'mon!" Niffty took his hand and lead him through the forest of legs and dodging anyone who might accidentally kick of stomp on them. And in less than twenty seconds, they were now in the front row, splash zone.
