"Oh Gott what have I gotten myself into now? I am literally dating, DATING! It can't be so hard can it? What do we do? Spend the majority of the time helping each other in my lab? That can work i guess. Maybe it will be...platonic? Is that the word I should be using?"
"You're talking to yourself you foolish fish." Alastor interrupted.
"W-wha? I was?!" Baxter panicked. He couldn't think straight, he just ended up talking to himself instead of thinking it in his head and letting Alastor know.
"Does my babe need to be in my comfort again?" Niffty called out of her room and rushed towards Baxter before he could defend himself. He made a weak groan as he saw her spread her arms out and grab him. "Oh Bax, I can hug you for as long as you like or until I get tired! Mm! Mm!" She gripped onto Baxter and moved her arms around him for a little while. Tugging him left and right three times.
"Hey so is the little drama settled dow- ~oooooohhhh!?~" Charlie walked in expecting a simple apology being made but ended up seeing something better. "I guess you guys made up?" Charlie asked with glee. "Oh even better! ~We are dating!~" Niffty hugged Baxter from the side and nuzzled the side of her face on his side of his face as she held on his shoulder to get near his height.

Update October 9th, 2021: Just finished this comic. Super cute.
"Ehh!" Was all Baxter could say. "Aaaww!" Charlie said with sparkling eyes adoring the little demons hugging each other. Well, one of them hugging. "Okay, Niffty i am feeling better now." Baxter couldn't take the embarassment any longer and anticipated for her to let go of him. She let go respectively and Baxter began to leave to his room. He took a look back, Charlie waved, Alastor kept his creepy menacing smile, and Niffty, blew him a kiss. He tried to cover his head in his coat in reaction and walked away faster.
"He's so cute! Hey...what if you guys became a cute couple?" Niffty pointed at the taller demons.
"That is most unprofessional, dear!" "What? Psh, noooo. Niffty, I'm still with Vaggie don't you know that?"
"Not for long!" Niffty mumbled "What?" Charlie questioned Nothing." Niffty mumbled again but louder this time.
"Oh man it's getting late and I'm kinda tired from all the running and crying and hugging, I'm gonna go back into my room now! See you two later." Niffty said with a mischievous tone at the last sentence.
"Niffty's so funny! Could you imagine us as a couple?"
"I do agree, it would be quite strange, dear."
"Let's just see if it would look possible. C'mon let's take a selfie!"
"And what is a 'selfie'?"
"Y'know like a selfie, self portrait, self photography thing."
"Ohhh, well, we'll need the full equipment for that!"
