Chapter 23: Leviathan Lake Date

Niffty was excited to come to Leviathan Lake with Baxter, knowing that the giant serpent's home is in Envy Ring, he comes around to visit other Rings. But one thing worried her as she would be out with Baxter, he doesn't have a phone. She didn't know if she wanted to get him a phone right now or later. She then decided that she should just stay with him all the time throughout the date.

Baxter was confused on the other hand. He never took someone on a date before. He doesn't know whether he should go to her first or just tell her to meet up at the place. He then remembered that this was Hell and this place was unforgiving to everyone, especially to sinners his height and shorter.

"MORNING BAXTER!"
Baxter flinched at Niffty calling him from outside his door!
"Hey babe, I just told Princess Charlie that I wanted to spend this day with you and she was like, 'aawww' and she said it was ok. Are you ready?"

"Uh..j-jah! I'm almost ready!"
'Oh, if she finds out about what I did last night, she will tease me non stop!'
He thought while putting his new clothes on. He added his cologne and fixed his hair. The shower he had after he woke up messed up his usual hairstyle. It was needed because of his indecent actions he took into.
He opened the door 34 seconds later and was ready.
"Ooh, Baxy looking Fancy. ~I wish I could do all sorts of weird naughty things to you when we're married.~" she said while dragging her finger playfully and seductively down his buttoned up shirt.

"-or when you're okay with it." Niffty noticed his blushing and calmed herself down.
"I....smell nice...?" Baxter brought up randomly.
"Hmm? You do? *sniff sniff* oh yeah, i kinda like that. *long sniff* oooh yeah. I always liked your natural smell but this...is the smell i want on you like all the time." Niffty was indeed liking his cologne.

Baxter with his suit and tie and Niffty with her more fancier outfit made them look like the cutest couple in the hotel! She wore a different shirt this time, a buttoned up shirt with polka-dots, a less poofy and cleaner looking shirt. Baxter didn't mind her usual shirt but it sometimes looked like she got in a mess that involved strawberries and cherries. Like some sort of fruit masher that malfunctioned and spilled on her.

As they walked out in the hallways, Niffty had her hands behind her back and kicking up her feet every step she took, excited and eager to be on a legit date with Baxter, she twirled around to look at him almost every seven seconds. Baxter was walking a little slower and nervously, folding his arms and peering around corners so that no one in the hotel could find them and tease them. Niffty tilted her head in confusion and decided something drastic.
She went to him and put her hands on his arms.
"Hey, Bax. Let's hurry!"
"Huh?"
And without knowing it, she GRABBED his hand and was running with him towards the elevator! Niffty was smiling back at him as she ran a few glances, it was something Baxter never experienced before but it felt like time became slower and the afterlife became happier.
Then as Niffty glanced back at him a third time, she was running into Vaggie returning back! Baxter's inner boyfriend instincts jumped in and halted his feet and pulled Niffty in to hold her! They stood still wrapped in each other's arms like they were going to tango.
"Woah! Nice save there. Imma just--walk past you two and let you dance or whatever the fuck you'll be doing." And she scooched away.
The small demons were staring into each other's eyes, surprised at what had just happened.
"Baxter, this is the most beautiful embrace you ever pulled me into."
"Yes, we're quite smooth i guess."
"If we practice dancing often, we may be able to get to Alastor and Charlie's level...I can take the lead." Niffty said with hidden excitement.
They then began to waltz towards the elevator.
"Wait, Niffty, what are you doing?"
"You ever seen ballroom dances?"
"Oh wait, i'm starting to remember."
He then took the lead and they both got into the elevator doors.
