"So, are you going back to your room?"
Niffty asked while walking alongside the chemist.
"Of course, where else would I be heading?" Baxter answered.
"Wait, so if you're a chemist, where would you be working at?"

"Oh, in my room of course! I might as well thank that vandalizer for smashing my window. Now I have a real air filter." Baxter lied and bragged about his situation.

"You know Baxter, there were some rooms in the basement that could've been converted into a lab." Niffty suggested.

Baxter stopped walking. He started staring into the abyss with a disappointed and dumbfounded look. Now I've really became stupid. I broke my own window for nothing.
"Baxter, is there something wrong? Please, speak to me." No answer. They stood in the hallway for a while. He then took a sharp breath and facepalmed himself but avoided hitting his light.

"Please don't tell me, there was no vandalizer." Niffty spoke softly.
Baxter put his arm down and looked away from her. He nodded yes.

"Yes there was a vandalizer or no there wasn't?" Niffty asked now confused.

"*sigh*...there was no vandalizer. I broke the window so fumes could escape the room safely."

"Baxter? How could you?!" Niffty wasn't mad, but confused and shocked at what this hotel guest did.

"Well if I didn't let out any fumes while I worked in my room, I would be putting myself and everyone in this part of the hotel in danger! *sigh* it had to be done. But now what could be done?" Baxter let out all of his anger.

"...are you feeling better now?" Niffty asked in a concerned tone.

"Uh...yes. I actually am feeling a bit better. But what about my window?"

"Hmm, oh I got it! ALASTOR!" Niffty called out. She knew that he had a great sense of hearing. They continued walking back to Baxter's room until they were six feet in front of it. "Mister Alastor?" Niffty called out again. "Who's Alastor?" Baxter asked.
"Yes, little darling?" Alastor appeared right behind them. With his wide grin, static emitted from him as he noticed Baxter there. He poses no threat now, I can't destroy him here, especially with Niffty nearby.
"Oh, hey Alastor! I was wondering if you could fix something for us?"

"Us?" Alastor raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, me and Baxter, there's something in his room that needs to be fixed."
Hmm, did he break his bottles of poisonous gases? Alastor thought.
Niffty opens the door and leads Alastor into Baxter's room. He thought of crouching down when he realized it was the same height as the rest of the other rooms. "It's this window, it's broken." Baxter pointed to it. "Can you help fix it?" Niffty asked while looking up at him.
"Of course! This won't be a challenge!"
Alastor waved his staff and all the glass that was broken moments before floated back to the window, even the broken shards that fell outside. They pieced back together like the causes were reversed and came together like a jigsaw puzzle. As all the pieces were together again, the cracks shrank and got thin until it was gone. The glass window was one and brand new again, like it wasn't broken before.

"Wow! Thanks Alastor!" Niffty clasped her hands together at his works. He looked at them both, knowing that he also did Baxter a favor, he paid his attention only to Niffty.
"No problem, sweetie." Alastor closed his eyes with his smile. Niffty walked out of the room as Alastor stepped in front of Baxter.
"I know exactly who you are, Fischer. Your reputation back in Earth may have been buried in the textbooks, but we Americans remember your heinous crimes. You best be thankful that I am tasked to not kill anyone in the Hotel, especially near Niffty or Charlie. But if I hear that you'll harm or experiment on them, then you should best keep cautious of your own chemistry setup. Got it?"

Baxter gulped...then nodded his head while looking straight forward.
"Guys? What's taking so long?" Niffty asked. As soon as she peered through, Alastor quickly teleported in front of her. "Just a little friendly chat, dear. Nothing to worry about." He reassured her. Baxter walked out of his room with a straight face, trying to hide pure fear.

Charlie appeared in the hallway soon after. "Oh, hey guys! Oh! Baxter! I've got great news! I was checking on the empty rooms and I figured something out with the window problem." Charlie walked to the circular window and began searching for something around the frame of the window. "I got it! There's a hidden switch that lets you open the window." It opened and she pulled it forward. Baxter now feeling more surprised than ever, dropped his jaw and widened his eyes.
I could have prevented all of this unnecessary trouble.
But no, I had to break the glass, have this red evil giant threaten me, and look like a fool in front of Niffty. Wait, what am I saying? Agh! I'll just sleep again for a new day tomorrow morning.

As they all left Baxter's room, Baxter tried to get back to bed. The idea that Alastor, the Radio Demon and the strongest of the staff knew who Baxter was had unnerved him. He stared into the ceiling just thinking of all the events of today. What's the best way to get me asleep? Sleep. Just sleep already.

When Niffty can't fall asleep, she'll write in her friendfriction until she gets exhausted. She took her book out and with a pen, she started off with Alastor and Charlie:
The powerful demons of the hotel realized that they were not just good at singing and dancing, they also liked to solve problems together. Even though Alastor was the one who finishes the problem. One day, Charlie was needing help reaching for a folder on a very high shelf and I was using the ladder for cleaning. "Alastor, can you help me?" She called out. "Yes, sweetheart?" Alastor appeared from the corner and with his smile, he made Charlie blush. "Uhh...Al? Can you help me reach the folder up here?" She pointed up the shelf. Alastor rubbed his chin. "Hmm, it's also quite tall for me as well. Looks like we'll need teamwork!" Alastor picked up Charlie by the hips and helped her up! His face was practically stuffed in Charlie's breasts and Charlie just paused with more blush on her face then before!..[]

After she was done with Alastor and Charlie, she then began with Baxter and herself, but it was quite hard since all she knows about him was just his knowledge in chemistry. "Wait, he's a chemist. And we could have literal chemistry! Speech and chemical substance! This is going to be awesome! But...it doesn't really help much. And I barely know him, *sigh* but a girl like me could dream. Wait, dream, that's it! Maybe I'll make myself in an alternate universe! And then he's a famous Doctor who lives in this beautiful mansion with me as his maid, and I know he's lonely so- alright, I'll just start now."

AUTHOR'S note: June 9th, 2020
June 10th is my birthday but I really don't know what to do. Instead of receiving things from others, I'll give things to you for my birthday!
■It could be a Q/A,
■Face Reveal?😳
■Maybe more chapters if I can get them done in time? Because I was supposed to get this done on June 8th and I was kinda lazy with watching Guinea Pig videos and sleeping. Also thinking of this dream I had which was weird but nicer than my sleep paralysis.

But what I love about this chapter is that Niffty just went inception mode on us. Fiction writing within fiction. (Ficception)
