~ Rens Pov ~

After class ended, I was just finishing packing my things when I was grabbed by two ginger-headed twins. I was quickly dragged away before I could even retaliate. we were going pretty fast so I just gave in and let them take me, Tamaki warned me about the 'shady twins' that would be in my class that also happened to be in the host club so I wasn't too worried.

Eventually, we came to a stop before I was again dragged through a door.

"Boss!" one said,

"Why didn't you tell us you had a brother!" The other continued. I was just sitting on the ground while they held both my wrists.

"Get you no good hands of my poor little brother!" Tamaki yelled holding a bat, they let go of me and hid behind Fujioka from my class he must be in this dumb club too. it was kind of funny but I still didn't want to be here.

'I need a smoke, this is too irritating' I wriggled out of Tamaki's grasp but he was too busy telling the twins off to notice. I walked over to the window and opened it before sitting on the seal. I lit my cigarette and watched the display in front of me, taking large puffs now and then. after a bit of chasing it seemed Tamaki was hiding in the corner for some reason. 'if he's anything like before I know the reason' I sweatdropped.

soon a small-looking boy came up to me with a much bigger one following behind him. I held my cigarette up slightly as he approached, you're not supposed to smoke around kids.

"Hi! it's nice to meet you Tamaki's brother!" the kid said to me. I held my hand that wasn't holding the cigarette out to him before saying.

"Nice to meet you too, I'm Ren" The smoke had eased my nerves a lot some it wasn't hard to introduce myself this time. he took my hand,

"I'm Honey, and this is Takashi but everyone calls him Mori and this is Usa-Chan," he said holding up his stuffed rabbit. before I could reply Tamaki was there,

"Ren! you can't smoke in here!" he yelled, taking my cigarette and extinguishing it before he dragged me to the group again.

"Everyone this is my younger brother Ren, Ren this is The Host Club. That Kyoya Ootroi, Haruhi Fujioka, Mitsukuni Haninozuka-or Honey Senpai-, Takashi Morinozuka-or Mori Senipai- Hikaru, and Karou Hittachin" Tamaki said with pride, while everyone else stares at each other with blank faces. I just bowed and started walking towards the door.  "Ren where are you going!" Tamaki yelled.

"I have lunch plans," I said rather monotonously. I said that I'd eat lunch with Haruka and I was already late.

"You can't leave yet!" the twins said in unison, but I had already left. I walked to the cafeteria and spotted Haruka at the end of the lunch line, I walked over to her and tapped on her shoulder.

"Oh, hey Ren! I was starting to think you ditched me!" she said smiling. I got my lunch -which was ridiculously priced by the way- and sat down at a table. I noticed that Haruka didn't have one.

"Where's yours?" I ask worriedly. Her smile faltered for only a second. 

"I didn't get one, they're too expensive and I don't really need it," she said smiling again.

"Bullshit," I said and put my tray between us. "I only have the money to buy one but here we'll split," I said. I was a bit angry about this, to be honest. Not sharing, I was mad she thought she didn't need it.

"You know you don't have to waste your food," she said, not looking up from her lap, she must feel guilty.

"Don't worry about it. I'm happy too, and you need to eat to keep that pea-sized brain of yours running ." I said with a mouth full. her head shot up from her tray,

"HEY! I THOUGHT YOU WERE BEING NICE WHAT  THE HELL!" she yelled at me, I chuckled. "WHAT'S SO FUNNY YOU-!" she yelled again before I stuffed a spoon or pudding in her mouth, still smiling. I was grateful to have made a friend so quick, it was easier now that I wasn't known as a druggie's kid.

The rest of the day went on a usual, you know, school. It was the end of this last period and I was packing up while I was talking to Haruka.

"Ren!" I heard an annoyingly familiar flamboyant voice yell. I looked up to see Tamaki walking towards us. He was smiling a bit too happy, I was kind of nervous.

"Yeah?" I say back, as he stood in front of us. I don't think he saw Haruka. She was kind of standing behind me since I turned to look at Tamaki.

"I've been playing it out all day, you will be the bad boy type, you have the perfect look for it. You'll be the perfect addition to the host club-!" Tamaki was talking a mile a minute, I just sweatdropped. I knew one thing and that was that I was not going to be a host.

"You're joining the host club, Ren?" Haruka said suppressing giggles. I shot her a glare but before I could deny it Tamaki interrupted me.

"I'm afraid I didn't see you there Princess, you must be the lovely girl my brother ran off with during lunch," Tamaki said, doing his 'princely' act. She laughed and nodded.

"That would be me and I presume you are the annoying brother I've heard about." She said with an innocent smile. She said earlier she found that act annoying. I choked on my laughter and Tamaki went to his emo corner. She was laughing too but walked over to him, "I'm sorry Tamaki Senpai, I'm sure you not THAT annoying" it was backhanded but he sprung back up quickly because of it.

"Why thank you, Princess," he said posing.

"Anyway, I don't want to be a host Tamaki," I said to him 

"It isn't up to you the limo won't be here till after club hours so you have nowhere else to go," he said smugly. Me and Haruka sweatdropped.

~ Time Skip ~

"So Ren, Why did you move here from France?" A girl sitting across from me with black hair asked. I'm currently doing my 'test run' to see how much training I'll need now that I'm being forced into the club. Haruka had left because she had to get home but said she would come some other time. a blonde girl who I learned was named Emiko on my right across from me there were two girls seated on the right was a brunette named Nozomi and a girl with black hair named Rei.

"I was living with my mother before I moved here, sadly she passed away not too long ago," I said with a sad smile unconsciously holding the amethyst in my necklace. They both gave me sad looks,

"I'm so sorry to hear that, were you close?" Nozomi asked. I smiled again,

"Yes but things were as good between us towards the end of her life, I only wish I could have done more for her," I said, they all awed and looked like they may cry... this is weird.

~ With Tamaki and The Others 3ed Person Pov~

they all sat in awe watching from behind a couch.

"He's a natural at this," Hikaru said quietly while Karou nodded.

"A prodigy just like our king," Kyoya agreed. After he said that Tamaki walked over to his brother and the girls. He had a faint smile on as he approached,

~ Back with Ren ~

"Hello, princesses would you mind if I borrowed my brother? I was wondering if we could play something for you," Tamaki said using his weird magic.

"That would be lovely" all the girls agreed. I sighed and got up and my brother led me to a certain that magically had a piano and cello behind it.

"where did this come from?" I asked

"Well it is a music room after all," he said smiling.

We sat down and began playing (A/N: the song at the top). It was a beautiful song and it made me feel at peace to play again. It's been a while.

As the song ended I heard the applause from the guests and members, in that moment I felt something I hadn't in a long time. For the first time in years, I felt like I belonged like I was being excepted.
