~ Ren's Pov ~

After playing, I sat down with my guests. They were all smiling and clapping, and I smiled back.

"You did great, Ren!" One said happily while the others nod, making my smile grow.

"Thanks, it means a lot coming from such beautiful ladies" I replied, trying to use the thin Tamaki taught me but it was a bit embarrassing. The host club continued because it was my first day. I didn't have any other guests like the other members. I enjoyed Talking to the girls I was with, even if it was a bit awkward. They were all surprisingly sweet and understood that I was new to this.

~Time skip~

The host club had just wrapped up and I was cleaning up the table I sat at. That is until I heard my brother yelling for me as he ran over.

"RENNNN~" he sang. "You did so good, you must get it from me!" he said again aggressively pulling me into a hug. He was smiling brightly and look genuinely excited so I didn't do anything about it.

"Thanks, Tama," I say blankly after he finally pulled away having to look up to him due to the height difference. His smile only grew wider as he picked me up and spun me around enough to make me puke.

"RENIE YOUR SO CUTE!" he said using my past nickname. I didn't say anything, I didn't want to spoil his mood, so I just stared blankly outwards. Once he calmed down I finished cleaning and went to grab my bag, only to realize 'it's gone? where could it have gone?' I continue to look until I see something floating to the pond outside from the window. 'hm,' I thought as I sighed.

I walked downstairs and out the door, 'I wonder how the hell it ended up out here.' I thought again as I walked to the fountain. I had to take off my shoes and roll up my pants to collect my things. I could replace most of the school things, but I had my last pack of cigarettes in my bag and I can't leave that kind of thing on campus. But I can't seem to find it.

"you got some nerve skipping out on the club like that, Renie," I heard Tamaki say from behind me. I didn't say anything nor did I turn around. "whys your stuff all wet?" he asked

"It's nothing really you can go ahead, I just can't find my cigarettes," I mumbled the second part, I didn't want to tell what I was looking for. He knows I smoke, he's seen me, but it's still a bit embarrassing. I know it's a nasty habit. when I turned around he appeared next to me also without shoes and rolled-up pants. He began looking as well,  "Is this what you're looking for?" he said, holding up the pack with a smile.

"Yeah," I said quietly and took it from him. He nodded and helped me repack the things I had thrown in a pile while looking. "thanks" I mumbled, and he nodded in return.

"How did your stuff end up in the pond anyway?" he asked after I ignored him the first time he asked. I shrugged and grabbed my newly packed bag and slung it over my shoulder- ignoring the fact that I was getting myself wet in the process.

~Time skip~

It was my first official day at the host club I was sitting with a girl that I had seen Tamaki with yesterday.

"Oh really? That sounds terrible. I can't imagine what I'd do if my bag fell into the pond." she said 'why would she request me if it's obvious she doesn't like me?' "And you actually made Tamaki search that dirty old pond with you, how astonishing," she said before I could say anything she spoke again, "you know the only reason he's paying attention to you is because you're his brother right? don't start thinking he cares about you just because he's doting on you" that's when it clicked.

"Now I get it, you're jealous of me" my accent was thicker than usual because of my irritation, she gasped slightly. before I knew it she had kicked the table over and I landed on top of her and she started screaming.

"No Ren leave me alone! Somebody help, he just attacked me!" I looked up only to see two pitchers of tea being poured on us by the twins. The whole room was silent before Tamaki helped her up. "Do something Tamaki, Ren just assaulted me," she said pretending to be on the verge of tears.

"I'm disappointed in you," he said pushing the now wet hair out of her face. "you threw his bag into the pond didn't you?" I just stared up at the scene unfolding in front of me.

"You don't know that, do you have any proof that I did?" she said offended 

"you know you're a beautiful girl but I'm afraid you're not classy enough to be our guest dear. If there's one thing I know Ren is not that kind of a man." she ran off crying and calling him an idiot, I look like the biggest idiot sitting on the ground covered in tea.
