~ Ren 3ed Person Pov ~

The sound of rain hitting cement and the distant chattering of other guests were all that could be heard. A boy stood over the grave not daring to shed a signal tear, his black hair stuck to his face from the rain. He stood in silence, not uttering a word when the others occasionally approached the grave as well.

He wore a black button-up shirt with dress pants and shoes. His eyes remain hidden behind his hair, only if you saw them would you see his sullen look as he stared blankly at the grave, the name Anne-Sophie de Grantaine engraved into it. The boy had arrived at the event before it had started and stayed long after it ended.

His mother had died three days before the funeral, and on that day he was informed that he would be moving to Japan to live with his father and brother. He had never met his father because his grandmother didn't let them keep in contact. His brother had left France because their father needed an heir to his company. He left that night to pack for the flight that would take place early that morning.

~Ren's 1st Person Pov~

It has been three years since my brother left for Japan. It was sad but I soon got used to him not being around. I got used to spending my nights with the only Maman and going to school without anyone to talk to. Though that only caused my social anxiety to grow, and isolation to become harder to handle. It felt like I was an outsider to everyone around me.

Maman tried her best to be a good mom but because she was sick she was on a lot of medication, and pain killers. I witnessed her grow addicted to her pills, her addiction grew for about 2 years until she was killed by it.

To cope I have been smoking cigarettes, they weren't hard to get because Maman smoked. I didn't tell her about me smoking but I knew she knew.

We were both struggling, and I knew she blamed herself for it which killed me. I tried not to blame her, she can't control her addiction. I should have been there more to help at the start of it and maybe things would be different.

I skipped school often and when I felt like something was up with her I stayed home completely. a week after I started staying home, she commented suicide by overdose. I only wish I could have done more for her or that Tamaki would have been able to be there with her too.

I was now going to live with my brother and farther. That scared me also because I didn't know my father and hadn't seen my brother for years. But knowing Tamaki, he probably has made lots of friends and has been enjoying himself in Japan. I can't help but be worried, I hope things change for the better when I live there.

The plane had just landed. It was 10 am, it was a 9-hour flight, I was excused but I ignored it because I was mortified. I didn't know anything really about the Japanese culture and knew nothing about how I would be living there. The scariest part of it though was that I would be seeing my brother and father. knew that Tamaki and Père wouldn't be picking me up because of school and work, but it didn't ease my nerves to know that I would be seeing them tonight. I walked off the plane and looked around till I found a man holding a sign with my name on it.

"Bonjour Je suis Ren Suoh" hello I'm Ren Suoh I said after I approached him. I mentally kicked myself, he probably doesn't speak French. He didn't say anything, just nodded and led me out of the airport. He directed me to a car that looked like it was worth more than me and opened the back door for me to sit. "Merci" thank you I said quietly now feeling nervous again.

The drive was rather long and silent. I knew the man didn't speak french so I felt bad trying to speak to him. When we finally arrived I was in awe, the house was huge, I felt out of place in such a home. The ceilings were higher than my future and it looked all too clean. The man had given my luggage to a maid who led me to my room, and I began unpacking

~ ~ ~ ~ ~

I had just finished unpacking, it's 4:30 pm now, and it was around noon when I arrived at the home. It took longer than expected but I finally got my room to look the way I wanted. The thing that took the longest was setting back up my PC, let's just say that was a struggle...

I knew Tamaki would be home soon and he stayed late for a club or something. It was a lot of work and I just needed a destresser. I changed out of my old clothes and into some black and white pajama pants, lit a cigarette, and started playing Call of Duty. I didn't know if it was okay to smoke inside, so I cracked a window so it wouldn't be too noticeable.

~ 3ed Person Pov ~

Tamaki had finished at the host club and was just arriving home.

"Master Tamaki, your brother is waiting for you in his room," A butler informed him as he took his bag for him. His eyes widened,

"My brother...?" Tamaki said quietly, he wasn't aware his brother would be here.

"third door on the left." the butler said before walking off. Tamaki stood there speechless. The brother he thought he'd never see again was right here in this house. He ran to the room as fast as he could, his heart was beating out of his chest. As he approached the said door, he took a deep breath before twisting the handle.

Inside he saw a boy sitting at a computer wearing only pajama pants, with a cigarette hanging out of his mouth. He was nothing like the little boy Tamaki used to know. The boy he remembered had blonde hair and was disgusted by smoking.

"Ren?" Tamaki said. The boy turned his chair around to reveal the same little boy that Tamaki has missed so much over these three years, only now he wasn't so little. His face had matured and he had grown more muscle mass.

Tears welled in Tamaki's eyes as Ren stood up. Tamaki hugged him before either of them could say a word. Ren was still in shock, he knew he would be seeing Tamaki but it still felt like a dream. Both of their faces were stained with tears as they separated from the hug.

"What are you doing here?" Tamaki asked

A/N: This may have been a little boring or choppy. I just kinda wanted to get him there and it will get better! Have a great day or night and goodbye <3
