Thicker than Blood (Bakugouxfemalereader)

Tournament pt.2

It took a bit of time for the stadium to be cleaned up and the arena repaired before the next match began. Aparently, we missed the rematch between Kirishima and Tetsutetsu. Which ended up being and arm wrestling match that Kirishima dominated.

A few minutes before, Uraraka finally came back to the stands. As soon as I noticed her, I went to check on her. "Hey, Uraraka... you were amazing out there." I smiled brightly at her. She returned with her own and gave me a shrug. "Yeah, but I didn't have a back up plan. I put everything I had into that move, but I'm not giving up. I'll do better next time." She seemed to be taking it better than I thought she would. She had been the most excited to display her talents. " How are you? Are you in any pain?" I asked as I gave her body a quick once over. "Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just exhausted." I nodded. "I'm glad your ok. Izuku and Todoroki's match is about to start so we better take a seat so we won't miss it." I commented as I turned away from her to return to my seat.

Todoroki and Izuku came out, both with serious looks on their faces. They both ready themselves for a rough battle as Midnight called the match to start. Chaos ensued in the stadium as Todoroki would through ice at Izuku and Izuku would flick it away with immense air pressure. Breaking one finger at a time with each attack.

This went on for several minutes as the obviously talked back and forth. Even though I knew they were yelling at eachother, with everything going on you couldn't hear what they were talking about. Soon Todoroki through a large wall of ice towards Izuku and instead of using just a finger he reared back and punched it. An intense tidal wave of wind wiped around the stadium and ice flew in several directions. Then I heard my brother scream, "You have yet to injure your opponent. You'll have to use all your power if you are going to beat me." My hand instinctively came up to my mouth as I watched them.

Izuku what are you thinking? Why would you taunt him like this?

Todoroki suddenly charged Izuku. "Mhhh, he's slower..." Bakugou commented beside me. He was right. "The build up of ice on his body is affecting him." Bakugou added.

Izuku waited till he found an opening just as Todoroki lifted his right foot Izuku made his strike. Getting a clean hit to his stomach and propelling him backwards, but Todoroki manages to freeze an arm before that. Todoroki recovers quickly and sends more ice Izuku's way. However, Izuku counters. Despite being in obvious immense pain, izuku continued to sacrifice is fingers. Some more than once, doing even more damage.

This was too painful to watch. I didn't even realize that I had begun to shake until strong arms lifted me and placed me into his lap. I glanced back at Bakugou as he wrapped his arms around me tightly. My heart squeezed at the sweet gesture of comfort. He didn't say anything, and I looked back at the arena. Feeling a bit more at ease in his arms.

And intense heat permeated the stadium, making me look back down at the arena. Todoroki's left side was up in a fire blaze that stretch up high behind him. Then I heard Izuku yell again, " It's your quirk not his!" They stood there talking for another moment before Todoroki made a massive wave of ice. Izuku had to maneuver and smash it again. Todoroki quickly ignited his fire side and melted the ice. They both at  ready themselves for a long range attack. Suddenly, several tall thick walls of cement sprang up in between them. Both of their powers hit the walls and a massive explosion made me tuck into Bakugou and shut.my eyes from the force.

Once it called a bit, I leaned forward. Searching desperately for Izuku and Todoroki. After a few moments, it cleared enough to reveal a barely standing Todoroki. Who had managed a wall of ice behind him. Most likely to keep him in the ring. I looked to the opossite side, my eyes slowly racking over the debris till I found Izuku's still form. Screwed over large chunks of rubble. "Midoriya is out of bounds. Todoroki advances to the next round." Midnight exclaimed.  Midoriya was quickly carted off. "I jumped up to leave. "I have to go check on him." I said quickly and walked away not waiting for Bakugou to respond.
