One Door Closes to Another Opening

I sat watching the surveillance monitors with a few other heroes that where in standby for the operation. This horrible ugly chapter of my life was about to come to a close. I had wanted to be a part of the raid but as I was not officially considered a hero, yet I wasn't permitted to participate, but I was given permission as backup just in case they needed some of my knowledge during the chaos. I was grateful that the operation was being handled by the best though. I smiled at the thought of my brother and Suki actually working somewhat perfectly through the monitor/ They had come a long way since we were kids. We all have for that matter. Even with that in mind, I doubted that this was going to be the end of the league. There were just too many members for it to crumble complete. I was hopeful that they would at least get the leaders this time. They had a sound strategy and even if the worst outcome became reality, I would be there to heal and safeguard my heroes.

I waited with recovery girl just outside the perimeter waiting. It was definitely maddening to listen to all the screams, the yelling, and explosions. But they were also some what a comfort after they all had disappeared into the building. surveillance from the outside could only get you so far. I shifted uncontrollably in my spot for the first twenty minutes before some of the heroes and officers began to trickle out. Most had injuries and I quickly through myself into the work of healing them to keep myself from storming past everyone and into the fray. twenty minutes later, my gaze caught onto the tall blonde and greenette that I had been waiting on. I visible sighed in relief that they were ok.  I took a few steps toward them before I stopped. Each of them had visible signs of a fight. Their suits had tears in them but what made me stop in my tracks was that between them was Shigi. His head was down as they lead him to the waiting police vehicle. Just before they reached it, he looked up and locked eyes with me. The cold eyes that stared at me was frightening, but I squared my shoulders and refused to look away from him. He began to struggle against the boys and began to yell at me. "You fucking traitor! You think this is over?! Not by a long shot. When I'm done with you there will be nothing left. Not even your ashes will be found!" Shigiraki threatened. I didn't have to say or do anything. Dynamite did it for me. His hand came down hard onto the back of his neck and shigi went limp as his eyes rolled to the back of his head. The police officers took custody of him quickly before Suki turned to me. I gave him a small smile before he stomped over to me and pulled me close. "I would never allow anyone to harm you again." He gritted out making me chuckle as I wrapped my arms around his neck. Guiding my power over his body. Healing every scrap, cut, and bruise. I pulled back and stared up into his eyes before his lips came down to mine. I was vaguely aware of the sudden flashes in my peripherals, but I didn't care.

someone cleared their throat, and I pulled back. Suki growled menacingly and I couldn't help but chuckle. "There is still a lot of work to be done you two. Do that on your own time." Aizawa pointed out before strolling away.  I couldn't help but laugh. " Sensei, why is it always you that has to interrupt the sweet moments?" I questioned as I remembered the night before I disappeared from their lives. He paused and looked over his shoulder at us. "I don't remember interrupting anything the last time. If memory serves me well." He commented with an evil grin. I could feel the blush heating my cheeks before turning away and finding something else for my mind to do. Kats laughter followed me as I retreated.

A few weeks had past, since we had taken down the majority of the league of villains. Its members scattered or was slowly still being rounded up by heroes and police. I had focused on rebuilding my life. I passed my licensing exam with ease and finished my boards for my medical license as well. Now I stood in front of the gates at UA once again. Nostalgia tugging on my heart as I thought of my past and my future. My first day as an official teacher here. I was nervous but was so excited to get started. Since it was the middle of a school year, I would be helping sensei with his class. He was even adding a mini class for me to get used to teaching. One that was not exclusively to just class A but B as well. It would help smooth into the role Nezu had promised.
