Trouble Arises

The next few days were brutal on everyone. Aizawa shortened my time limit each day pushing me harder and I strived to rise to the challenge that he set for me. We were up before the sun broke the horizon and didn't stop training until the sun had begun to set. Everyday was exhausting, but I couldn't help feel a sense of satisfaction when I layed my head down at night to crash.

We all rested after another long day of training as the Pussy Cats came up happily."Alright kitties, we have a special surprise for tonight for you all working so hard."Ragdoll said loud enough to be heard by everyone. Excitemnt bubble slowly through the tired group. "After dinner tonight, we will be having a test of courage!" She exclaimed. Everyone grumbled. "Aw come on don't be like that. Class B will be the scarers and Class A will be the victims. Show no fear and take the plung." I shook my head but dragged my tired body through the finishing stretches before heading back to the facility with the others.

We all regathered at the clearing after a good meal and bath. Class B dissapeared down the path to begin to set up and Mandalay had us draw numbers to choose our partner and the order that we would go down the path. Me and Hagakure was paired together and we giggled happily. Each pair broke off from the group in five minute incruments as Mandalay called for each group to go. Screams and odd sound filtered through the forrest every now and then. Soon, it was our turn and we walk slowly beside eachother down the dark path. I let Hagakure hold the flashlight because I could probably run this path in my sleep for as many times as I have had to run it in the last couple days. We chatted quietly about nothing important as we walked the path. Suddenly, we heard something russel in the bushes and we paused. Then we saw a hairy thing on the ground move and our baodies stiffened. The head lulled to the side and Hagakure screamed in fear before bolting forward. I chased after her but I couldn't help but laugh.

She paused to catch her breath and I patted the back of her shirt. Trying my best to help calm her as much as possible at the moment. An eerry jog began to filter through the trees and under brush. It rolled in around us slowly and began to permeat the area. I smiled for a moment. Thinking it was another trick to scare us, but I soon frowned at the rotten egg smell that cooled at the back of my throat. I slapped my hand over my nose and mouth quickly. " Hagakure, Don't breath this in! It's a type of poisonous gas!" She quickly did as I asked but It was already getting to her and she swayed on her feet. I placed a hand on her shoulder before sliding it to her bare arm and expending the toxin from her body. I let her go before doing the same to myself. I snatched off my jacket and began to rip it. I handed one side to Hagakure and then tied it around my nose and mouth. I watched her do the same. This wouldn't help much but it was better than nothing. When she was done I turned back the way we had came. "We need to go back. See if we can find the students that we just past from class B." The make shift mask nodded and responded, "Right."

We began to jog back to where we last saw the scarer. We just came up to the spot and found three students uncouncious when a voice rang into my mind. "Everyone!" I recognized it as Mandalay and me and Hagakura feel silent to listen to her instructions. "Two villians have attacked us. It's possible that more are coming.Everyone return to camp immidiately. We're regrouping. Do not engage any enemies." We dragged the three together and layed them down. I took a sheet that one was using as a ghost costume to make makeshift masks. When I felt myself get a bit dizzy, I expended the toxins from my body and then did the same to Hagakure before doing it to each of the other kids. One of the guys quickly came to with a bit of confusion. "Hey, the camp is being attack by Villans. I made a makeshift mask to help with the poisonus gas in the air here. You and Hagakure need to take these two back to the facility. Don't take the path back. Take the forrest straight to it. You'll have more cover and will be able to hide if you need to." The boy slowly nodded as he registered my words and grabbed for one of his classmates. Hagakure grabbed my arm, "What about you y/n?" I gave her a small smile. "I'm going to look for others for now. I'm sure there will be more that is affected by the gas like they were and I'm the only on that can help them." Her mask shook. "But Mandalay said to regroup. You shouldn't go alone.It's too dangerous." Her shreaky worried voice floating through the open space. I grabbed her hand that held me. "I'll be alright. He needs help getting these two to safety. When you get to Aizawa-sensei let him know what I'm doing. I'm sure he'll be furious but let him know that I won't engage unless absalutely nescessary." She sighed before reluctantly agreeing and hefted the small girl onto her shoulder. The group soon dissappeared into the forrest towards the facility and I turned to head the other way.
