I ran out the door and to the car. I snatched my backpack out of the trunk before throwing the keys on the hood for Himiko. I melted into the night, hearing the angry voice of the ash blonde call out. I ran until I found an alley way that I could change my gear. I replaced the contents in the bag and sadly dumped the bag with my favorite heels into a nearby dumpster. I retreated to my quiet spot on top of MC company. I was confused and shaking by the time I got up there. I stared down at the brightly lite city unfocused. Not wanting to think about anything at the moment. I just wanted the endless sounds of the city below me and the chilly air that was wipping my hair around me. I pulled my hood up and after pulling my long hair into a ponytail. I simply sat there and that was probably why I didn't realize someone was behind me until just now.
I exhaled in annoyance. " Hello again Shinso." I looked over my shoulder to him and took his quirk. He slowly walked up to me and sat down. "Hello Blood." He slipped of his mask and a soft smile graced his face. A younger version of that face filtered through my head and I hissed in pain. He reached a hand out to me. "Are you ok?" I nodded before giving him a smile. "Yeah...it's just been a bit of an overwhelming night." He didn't take his hand away from my shoulder but his smile fell a bit. "Can I help in anyway?" I thought about his question for a bit before I answered. "Shinso.... the last time you saw me you called me by another name." He nodded. "I did. What about it?" He asked and I was quiet for a moment. "I don't remember past five years ago. I was told that something bad happened in my past that made me join the LOV, but I don't rememer." He narrowed his eyes. "Do you know what caused the memory loss?" I pulled my legs up and hugged them. "I was told that the master took them away and that I had asked for it. I had been given a drug to help keep those memories sealed because of my quirk, but lately I have felt the urge to find out what is in my past. So a few days ago I began to conteract the drug. Now certain things keep triggering bits of memory." I paused. "I'm starting to rethink my decision." I akwardly chuckled. "Well, I see it like this. No matter bad or good all of our memories and experiences make us who we are. If you are missing pieces of that how can we be truly ourselves." I mulled over his words as we sat quietly.
He removed his hand eventually and clasped them in front of him. "I had a friend in school." He started to explain. "I wouldn't say were extremely close, but back then we were in different classes and only really got to spend time together at lunch. However, despite not spending a lot of time together she was incredibly kind. Would help anyone in need no matter what it was. I loved just being around her. I was comfortable around her and could tell her anything. Even now that I have my boyfriend, I still talked to her more about myself in the beginning than with him." He unconciously smiled. I chuckled. "You seem to really love your boyfriend." I commented. He looked over at me. "I do. He is over the top most of the time but he is my other half." He chuckled. "Anyways, during the first summer break of our first year. The hero class she was in went on a training camp. It was attaked by villians and she and another student was kidnapped. The other student was recovered a week later, but she was never seen again. She simply vanished. We all looked for her for a long time, before most of the teachers gave up. Urging us to go on with our lives." He looked me in the eyes for a moment before continuing. "Her name was Y/n Midoriya. Her quirk was called body manipulation." My eyes widened as he told me her name and quirk.
"So you think I'm this friend that went missing?" He nodded. I looked out at the city for a few minutes before I turned back to him. "I don't know what to say." He smiled sadly. "You don't need to say anything." I stared at him. "But can I ask you something?" I nodded. "Can I see you? I mean really see? No one has ever seen what you truely look like under that mask." I thought about it for a moment before I reached for my hood. I pulled it back and my hair fell behind my back and swayed in the wind. I hestitated a lot before I lifted a shaking hand up to my mask. As if in slow motion, I pulled down my mask. I turned to him and he looked at me for several minutes. Looking over my features slowly and finally settling on my eyes before he smiled brightly. "It's really good to finally see you." That smiling face filtered into my mind along with a name that I was unsure about. "Toshi..." I said weakly. His eyes widened before he pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "God! I almost can't believe it's really you." I hugged him back and simply took in all the warmth and comfort that he was giving me.
