The next morning, the bell rang and I walked into the class with determination. Aizawa-sensei was already there up front addressing the class as they settled into their seats. "Alright students, this morning will be your first lesson with Ms. Midoriya. Villian ideology. I'll be in the corner taking a nap." He then snuggled into his sleeping bag before going still. I couldn't help but smile at him. "Why does he always do that? How lazy can one man be?" I heard someone speak and I grew angry. I turned to the class. "I wouldn't judge a book by its cover class. You never know what is happening when no one is looking." I spat out before leaning against the board and the class grew quiet.
"Now who can tell me the difference between heroes and villains?" I asked and several hands raised. I looked to the front row were the twins sat. "Yes, Luna." Hand fell and she looked a bit nervous. "Um, well Heroes use their quirks for good and villains use them for evil." I nodded. "Obviously, yes, but who decided what was good and bad?" I ask and the class looked a bit confused. "Society." Okabena answered from the back surprisingly. "That's correct. If our society had instead decided long ago the Villans were right and heroes where wrong, then everyone in this room would be classified as a villain. Our forefathers chose the classifications for us and even nowadays there are people that feel that they don't have a choice in which side of the line they are on. No matter how they feel inside. Villans could really do good and even heroes could do wrong. It's not always black and white and nothing is set in stone." Tokuma raised his hand. "Yes." Tokuma took a breath before answering. "I get what you're saying but Villains still make the conscious decision to do evil deeds. It still their choices just like its ours to save the public from them as they do so. " I smile. "You are correct. I am not condoning the bad choices merely bringing up the point of there is always a cause to every effect. I'll give you an example. Has anyone heard a Villian named Blood Ninja?"
Several in the class shook their heads. "What do you know about them?" I asked. Tadashi answered, "I heard that they were caught recently. Before that they were notorious for slipping through the Pros' hands for the last several years. Their quirk was never confirmed in the entire time during their rampage." Apollo was next to add. "I know that they never killed anyone but always got their mark and was part of the league of villains up until the recent raid. I also heard that they had some input in helping with the takedown as well." I looked over at him. "All correct. What you probably don't know is that they attended this school and was in the hero course." Several in the class gasped in surprise. "There are always two sides to every story some are darker than others and some have no choice." Several looked at each other warily. "But Ms. Midoriya, if they intended to be a hero originally then what could have possible happened to make them become a Villian?" Rain asked. I looked over to her sadly. "She was forced to by the league, her memories were altered to the point she didn't remember who or what she was originally meant to be. Her life was stolen from her and wasn't until just before the raid that it was given back. Now with the help of not only her old classmates and teachers she was able to get her life back and begin again." The class was quiet for a moment. "I'm not saying that every Villian will have a backstory like this, but they all have a story, and some are trapped in the web while others simply wanted to be accepted by others while they were shunned because of their unusual quirks."
"But at this point everyone has a quirk, why would anyone be shunned for it?" Luna asked and I saw several kids cringe or fidget in their seats. "If only the world was that kind. Take my brother for instance, his was thought to be quirkless for most of our childhood. He was bullied for it constantly. Even after he developed his quirk, he was sometimes looked at with fear because of how powerful he was. Now he is the number two hero." I smiled as Okabena shot from his chair. "Wait! Not only are you dating the number one hero Dynamite, but your brother is Deku the number two hero?" I smiled proudly. "Yes I am. Deku, aka Izuku Midoriya is my older brother." His shock faded and an evil smirk crossed his face. "I get why Dynamite is dating you now. It's so he can stay above your brother. He has the inside scoop." I frowned at his comment. " I will say I knew someone just like you when I was in school. He put others down as well. Thinking that he was the best at everything and that no one could hold a candle to him. Do you want to know what happened to him in our first year?" He folded his hands over his chest waiting. "I beat the shit out of him, and he finally began to see reason. Of course, he also went on to win the sports festival and get himself kidnapped by the league of Villains." I chuckled. Mikota chimed in. "Wasn't that Dynamite?" I smiled as I looked at him. "Yes, it was. The point is that your experiences contribute to making you who you are. If he had not gone through certain events than he would not be the pro hero, he is today. However, I have no doubt that he would still have become a hero he just wouldn't be as successful as he is. His personality was way to terrible when we were younger." I chuckled.
