July 4

It was four in the morning, when Avery suddenly wakes up, panting vigorously.

"Crap," Avery sighs as he lies down again.

Thinking about the car crash that injured him, Avery looked at his room's ceiling which was brightened up with glow in the dark stickers, trying to relax himself.

*alarm sets off*

Avery turns the clock off, picked his crutches up and headed to the bathroom. While brushing his teeth, Avery suddenly hears a screech from a car's tire, making him jump.

"Avery! Are you okay in there?" Jenna rushes to the bathroom door.

"Yeah, mom. I'm okay," Avery struggles to stand up.

"Oh my God! What happened to you?" Jenna is shocked as Avery comes out of the bathroom.

"I'm fine, ma," Avery sighs.

"What happened in there," Jenna asks.

"I just slipped. I'm okay," Avery smiles.

""Slipped"? Is something bothering you?" Jenna becomes worried.

"No. No. Everything's going great," Avery assures his mother.

Before he can go back to his room, Avery asks his mother about his aunt. Jenna knew what her son felt and so she agreed to tell Avery about her friendship with Charlotte.

"Your Auntie Charlotte gave me this," Jenna showed a locket that had a picture of the "Social Group".

"Wow. Dad was so young here," Avery laughed as he held the locket.

"Your dad was the youngest. Not to mention the nerdiest among us," Jenna chuckled.

Avery chuckles back as he points to two people from the picture.

"Who are they?" Avery points at young Prince and Tina.

"That's your aunt and uncle," Jenna says.

"They frequently visited us when you were younger," Jenna said.

"Every time they visited, your Uncle Prince always told me that you looked like your father when you were little," Jenna said.

"But as you grew up, I saw Auntie Charlotte in you," Jenna added.

"She was the second best. First being you, Ma," Avery smiled.

Jenna hugs her son when Zach comes in.

"They're here," Zach said.

"Who's here?" Avery asks.

"Oh. I forgot to mention that Uncle Prince and Aunt Tina were coming here," Jenna stood up from the bed.

"Let me help you, son," Zach tries to help Avery get up but he declines it.

"No. No. I got it. Thanks," Avery places his hands on his crutches.

Going down from Avery's room, the family is greeted by the Vale Family. Tina introduced her twin children, Louis and Adalene. Both of the Vale kids inherited Prince's mischievous and overconfident personality, who constantly butted heads with each other. Entering the house, the old friends reunited while the kids were getting into each other's lives and interests.

"So Avery, what's your profession?" Louis asked seriously.

"Profession? I still...go to school," Avery replies awkwardly.

"He's kidding," Adalene chuckles.

"Come on, sis. Quit ruining my jokes," Louis exclaims.

"Hey come on, Louis. It wasn't that bad. You still got me," Avery convinces Louis to stay but he goes to the backyard.
