The party turns out to be a lot of fun. It's good to see my friends from Chicago, its been awhile and I've missed them. Andrew and his family are getting along pretty well and I'm so happy for him that he was able to reconnect with his dad. However, it does make me sad that our baby will most likely never get to know Michael. At least Andrew and Michael came back into each others lives in time for Michael to meet his grandchild. My parents weren't so lucky. I really miss them and I would do anything to have them here with me.

The party winds down and everyone left except for our close circle of friends. Everyone gave us so much stuff that it takes all five guys multiple trips to get it all over to our house. Once the last load is dropped off at our house, Andrew and I say our goodbyes. It's been a long afternoon and I'm exhausted.

I pull Lily in for hug.

"Thank you so much for hosting today. We really do appreciate it."

She pulls back and smiles.

"Of course. We'd do anything for guys, you know that."

She really looks at me for a minute and a look of worry crosses her face.

"Are you feeling okay? You look a little pale."

"Just exhausted. I'm going to go home and lie down."

"Okay, let me know if you need anything."

"I will, thanks again."

I move on and hug everyone else as I tell them thank you again for coming and for the gifts. Then Andrew and I walk across the street.

"Are you sure you're okay? Lily's right you look pale. Beautiful, but pale."

He wraps his arm around me and I lay my head against him.

"I'm sure. I just need a nap."

He hesitates outside the front door but finally nods his head as he unlocks the door. Once inside he pulls me into his arms.

"Okay. If you're sure?" I nod my head yes. "Then you go in and get some rest while I start putting some of this baby stuff into the nursery and then I'll make us dinner." His kisses my forhead. "Sound good?"

"Sounds great. Thank you."

I give him a quick kiss and then I head to our room. I strip down to my underwear and climb under the blankets. I'm out within minutes.

When I open my eyes a short time later I just lie there for awhile thinking about the baby. I can't wait until the day I get hold our little boy or little girl in my arms. We've discussed names but haven't made any final decisions. We like both of his grandparents names, Fiona and Daniel. Then there's also my parents names, Samuel and Molly. Plus theres the obvious Olive for a girl since that's what we've been calling them. We also like Isabel and Issiah. We decided to wait to actually see the baby before we make anything official.

As I've been lying here thinking about names and if the baby will have my brown eyes or Andrew's green ones I've had my hands on my stomach. After a few minutes I realize I haven't felt any movement. I sit up in bed and move back against the headboard. I place both hands on my stomach and look at the clock to keep track of time. As I'm waiting to feel some sort of movement I try to remember when I last felt the baby move. It's been such a crazy day that the last time I remember was early this morning after I got out the shower. Little Olive had moved so that a hand was under my rib cage. I did some gentle nudging to get them to move and it worked.

Now twenty minutes have passed and nothing. I sit perfectly still so I don't miss even the slightest movement. The next twenty minutes I try gently nudging the baby and still nothing. As the final twenty minutes tick by my panic rises. Tears start running down my face.
