Author's Note: Updating pretty recently 0-0, I'm honestly kinda shocked. If you followed my other fanfic you would've known my updates were like once per month with a 2 month break then 4 uploads in a week. It was chaos, anyway, enough we need to know what happened.
POV: Levi Ackerman
- - -
Tch, four-eyes. She's so careless. I watched as she regained her balance to face me.
"Ehehe... Sorry Levi," Hange said to me. I just looked at her, hearing her hollow words. Of course, it was an apology but I could tell this wasn't going to be the last time. Then a wave came crashing again and she fell over, again. I didn't bother to catch her this time, instead her arms wrapped around my neck. I felt a sudden flush of warmth run through my face and neck then pushed her head away from me.
"Get off," I said.
"Awe c'mon Levi! Don't be like that," she said as she wrapped her arm around my shoulder again and dragged me back over to the sand.
"Why don't you just relax for once," she said, sitting down and pulling my arm to sit with her?
"It's better not to let your guard down," I told her.
"Oh, come on! Do you see any titans nearby? What danger is there?" Hange said as she watched the sunset. That question struck me, in all honestly I didn't know what could be potential danger to us but... That was why I needed to stay vigilant. In case something were to happen. But I guess a break was good, but if nobody else was staying alert things could get out of hand.
"Fine," I sighed "But someone needs to keep an open mind if not me."
"Got it!" Shitty-glasses said, "HEY! ARMIN! KEEP A LOOK OUT!"
I sighed and tried to relax. I looked at the sun setting over the ocean, it was beautiful. The sky was a fiery paradise of all the colours of the rainbow blended together into one masterpiece. The sun was a vivid red, it's light started to fade and it disappeared bit by bit. The clouds in the sky with golden rims began to float away and lose its colour. The sunset was mesmerising. I looked over at Hange, she was admiring the sunset just as I was.
"It's pretty isn't it?" She asked me.
"Yeah..." I replied. Then, out of nowhere, she reached for my hand.
"Oi, what the fuck?" I reacted. I tried to pull my hand but she just grabbed it tighter, into a clench.
"Now that we don't have much to do... I was thinking what normal people do everyday, say... You've never dated anyone have you?" Hange said to me. I just looked at her with a blank expression on my face. What was she talking about? This was so out of character it began to creep me out.
"No..." I replied, pretty much speechless.
"I figured, I haven't either. I guess I just wanted to see how it felt to hold someone's hand. Sorry about that," she said as she loosened her grip and let go of my hand. I kind of just sat there staring at the golden sky for a few moments before reaching for her hand.
"Yeah... How does it feel..." I muttered. We lay on the sand staring at the sky that was now a lilac colour with golden clouds floating. It really was beautiful...
