Author's Note: Hi guys! Another chapter whoo! I'll try to write these as often as I can since I am the CEO of procrastination and I get distracted easily... With that said, if I can I'll try to write longer chapters with 1000+ words etc so yep :)) Thanks for the support

POV : Narrator

It was way past midnight, the starts glimmered in the dark sky. Hange sat outside under a large oak tree scribbling furiously in her notebook. Hange sighed and leaned against the large trunk, looking up at the sky deep in thought. Ever since Eren had told her about his plan she'd been thinking about it. It seemed like a good idea, to keep everyone safe but that meant titans were no more. However after discovering the truth the mystery remained no more and with that the excitement faded. Another problem was how they'd find Zeke. He was the only Fritz they knew of and had a rough idea of where he was. It'd all be much easier if Historia's blood worked with Eren.

"Shitty-glasses," a familiar voice spoke behind her. As his figure came to view he crouched down next to Hange facing her.

"Levi? What are you doing here?" Hange asked, surprised to find him out in the middle of the night. Hange turned to face Levi, reading his tired face.

Levi gave no response to her and just sat down to the right of her, looking at the stars and absorbing the scenery. He sighed and closed his eyes, resting his thoughts. Hange thought he looked so small and fragile despite his frown. She didn't see the fierce warrior before her, instead a tired guy that was done with the worlds bullshit. Hange's hair ruffled in the breeze, only making her realise how cold it had gotten. Levi seemed to sense it and positioned himself upwards, standing up with a hand reaching out to Hange.

"C'mon, you're going to catch a cold if you stay out here," Levi said. Hange took his hand and got up from the moonlit grass.

"Don't worry," Hange replied, jinxing herself as what awaited the next day was...

Everything was silent as the sun began peeping in through the windows. The light shone inside Levi's clean room, where not a speck of dust was found. He groaned as the sun illuminated his features, awaking him. He stretched and yawned, not wasting time hogging the bed and began to get ready.

He put on a grey button up with his cravat wrapped around his neck, a brown belt that every military soldier owned and some black pants that reached his ankles. It was nothing special but presentable. He puts on his boots and leave for breakfast, locking the door behind him.

Meanwhile

As the sun started to creep into the darkness of the room Hange groaned and turned to face the other side. She was coated in sweat from head to toe even though the room was in no way past 30˚C. A shaky hand reached for the covers as she threw it over her head, her whole body was shaking. Hange put both her hands to her neck which felt like it was on fire. The cool touch seemed to calm her headache a little, with that she plastered her hands all over her face, cooling it down. She had a fever, she thought to herself. Maybe if she'd just listened to Levi's advice and take better care of herself this wouldn't have happened.

As the sunlight took over the entire room Hange forcefully sat herself up, still shaking. She stood up and slowly made her way to her desk searching for her glasses. After some struggle she managed to get changed into a yellow button up and the white pants and boots uniform. She made her way to the field where the scouts were supposed to be training and meets the rest of the squad.

As soon as she stepped on the grounds everyone turned to face her.

"Commander!" They all saluted and continued with their training. Hange just sat and watched, having a bad headache and feeling sick. Her view was blurry despite having her glasses on and her temples throbbed. She raised her hand to rub her head, hoping to sooth the pain but no luck.

"Commander Hange?" Sasha came bouncing up to where she sat.

"Sasha, do you need something?" Hange asks, trying to focus her gaze on the girl in front of her.

"No, but you seem unwell. Do you want to go rest, I'm sure we'll be fine and captain Levi's not too far either so we can ask him if we need anything," Sasha said to Hange. Hange insisted that she was fine but Sasha could see the sweat building up on Hange's forehead and how her face glowed red.

"Ay Sasha, why don't we just ask Levi to look after her since we've got training to do," Connie cuts in, appearing behind Sasha. Hange looks up at her subordinates and sighs, then putting her head in her palms.

"Thank you guys, I'm sorry I won't be much help," Hange says, waving at the 2 before walking back to her room. After she was out of view Sasha and Connie tell the rest of the scouts what was going on before leaving to go find Levi in his office.

Connie knocks on the door a few times and waited until they heard a reply. They opened the door and saluted to the man before them.

"What?" Levi asked, getting straight to the point which kind of scared the two.

"Commander Hange's not feeling well so we told her to get some rest," Connie began.

"And since we're busy with training we can't check up on her and we're wondering if you could check up on her or something..." Sasha says, lowering her head looking at the floor to avoid Levi's face.

"Okay, I'll go check up on her when I can. You two, go back to training." Levi says, his face still looking the same, expressionless but if you looked closely you could tell the worry in his eyes. Or was it annoyance?

It'd been around 30 mins after the 2 scouts had met with Levi and now he was making his way towards Hange's room. As he walks into the room, noticing the door's unlocked, he takes a look at her laying on the bed, sleeping. He places a hand on her forehead, feeling the warmth against his hand. Hange was definitely sick from a fever...
