Soojin walked out of the building and rejoined with Minnie and Shuhua. As she went outside, the atmosphere wasn't hazy anymore. It was a beautiful blue sky."Where's Soyeon?" She asked the two as she approached them.
"I'm not sure, she's probably making her way down here." Minnie told her.
"We should probably get you guys treated before people start getting suspicious." Shuhua advised which the two agreed.
They were walking out of the school campus when they were met with a woman running towards them-well, running mostly towards Minnie.
"Yah, Kim Minnie~"
The woman yelled as she ran and jumped into the said person's arms.
Soojin and Shuhua stood there feeling out of place and giggled to themselves for the wholesome scene that was happening in front of them. Soojin even smirked at the nickname the woman gave her friend.
"Miyeon, h-hey!" Minnie became flustered from the sudden action which caused her face to go bright pink.
"What happened to you?!" Miyeon asked as she saw the bruises and scratches on the latter's body.
"I-it's nothing really! I—uh... just had a rough weekend. I was just working really hard at my job, you know, since it's very hard on the body!" She laughed awkwardly as she was trying to come up with a good excuse.
"Nice going Min! Was that really the best reason you could come up with?!" Soojin scolded her telepathically that resulted in Minnie giving her a panicked expression of 'I don't know'.
"Oh I see! Just make sure to be careful next time."
The older girl bought the lie, which left the other three completely dumbfounded. Shuhua also face palmed in disappointment from the gullible response.
"Oh hi Soojin! I didn't see you there. How've you been lately?" Miyeon waved.
"Seen better days, but overall I'm fine." Soojin smiled to her.
"Who's this friend of yours? I don't think we've met before." She turned to Shuhua, "I'm Cho Miyeon."
"Yeh Shuhua. Nice to meet you." The young girl introduced herself.
"So where are you guys off to now? I heard the school is in some serious need of maintenance." She told them, "See, look."
Miyeon showed them a picture of the collateral damage. The trio looked at the image, pretending to be so surprised.
"It's like a full on battle happened. Almost like... something supernatural." The oldest pondered.
"Wha-What? You don't think that's real right?" Minnie asked her.
"Yeah, it could be due to the old age of the building." Soojin reasoned.
"Hmm, you're right." She nodded, causing the three to get a sigh of relief, "Anyways, are you guys busy? Maybe we can go out for lunch? I know this really good place."
"Lunch sounds great." Minnie said which the other two had to agree.
"Awesome! Let's go!" Miyeon clapped and linked her arm with the Thai, which may or may not have made her face turn bright red.
"You guys can go ahead, Shuhua and I have to do something."
"I'll get Minnie to text you the address. See you later!" She waved as she dragged her friend away.
"Minnie-unnie is way too whipped for her." Shuhua commented as she watched the two "lovebirds" walk off.
"Tell me about it."
